"I had dinner at Quinn's this past Saturday with my in-laws and my husband to celebrate his 40th birthday. The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was delicious and the service was top-notch. Oh, and the whiskey menu was FANTASTIC."

"Over all very good. Disappointed for the main course. I ordered the duck and when it came it was quite small and overcooked. I think for that size of the leg, 2 should have been given. I would have hated to see how big the lamb shank could have been if I had ordered that. My sister had the fish and she was quite happy about that. That was a good portion size."

"Had resos for an early 5:30 dinner, showed up even earlier, but they were able to accommodate. For a Friday before St. Paddy's day the dinning room was pretty empty, most people were at the bar. They stuck my gf and I in an awkwardly tight two person booth - meanwhile they offer a father/son duo and another older couple perfectly fine and roomy booths. I don't want to make any kind of prejudice remarks, but I noted it. Rib steak was decent, found out its marinated in some kind of mushroom mix, which gives it an earthy taste. Gotta say it was very tender, and cooked properly (medium rare)."

"The food here is amazing! I would highly recommend the lamb shank with barley risotto - had an excellent California Pinot Noir with it. There was a very large group beside us though and it was extremely loud. In hindsight, we should have asked to be moved. Service was great but 20 minutes before the restaurant was to close (the website says they are open until 11 pm), we were literally told that we had 5 minutes to go out to the bar or they were closing the door on us - it came across as pretty rude. The bar was also extremely packed and loud so we left."

"I normally boast Quinn's as one of the best and most underrated restaurants in downtown Toronto, particularly with people who frequent more modern cuisine. We've had two very good experiences at Quinn's and so we thought to bring our friends there visiting from Calgary. I'm not sure why the let down, but we were seated next to the really hot kitchen, the first waitress was nervous and dropped a glass (could happen to anyone), the second waiter clunked each of our dishes in front of us, abruptly, and we barely saw anyone for the rest of the night. And worse, the food was at best decent. I'd love to go back but given the price of dining there, I may have to reconsider. So disappointed because-loved Quinns..."
