A word from Quenas Restaurant
We opened Quenas with the dream of presenting the wide diversity and fusion of Peruvian food, using the best and most authentic ingredients, in a modern presentation. Peruvian cuisine fuses many different ethnicities, including Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and is increasingly being recognized as world class.

At Quenas Restaurant we’ve tried to capture the diversity of Peruvian food in our dishes. You will find a bit of everything that makes our food special, from the fresh and healthy Ceviches and Tiraditos, to the more flavor intense Lomo Saltado.

  • "This was our first time eating at Quenas and we will be back. The food was outstanding. We had the mixed seafood ceviche, the trout special, the Peruvian chicken stew and the Pervian fried rice with chicken. Each dish was plated beautifully. The ingredients were fresh and vibrant. Dessert was equally fantastic. The service was friendly, warm and attentive without being intrusive. We asked a lot of questions about the Peruvian dishes and it was clear that the two women who were running the front of the house were well-informed about their country's cuisine, and truly loved sharing it with diners. It is definitely worth the trip to Harrison to try this small but wonderful, friendly restaurant. "

  • "This a a great neighborhood. Shirley runs the dining room with easy grace while brother Hugo cooks fabulous wonderful Peruvian dishes. The cooked corn snack is addictive. The generous salad has a lime dressing. All the entrees are tasty."

  • "We really enjoyed our first visit to Quenas last weekend. We eat Peruvian food fairly often and Quenas has higher quality cooking than the other Westchester places. The prices are higher but it's worth it. We particularly liked the tamal appetizer, which featured fresh and moist masa, the cold mussels appetizer, which has a chopped onion, tomato and chili topping and the aguadita de mariscos, a cilantro rice soup with shellfish. A salmon special and a paella were also very enjoyable. The service is attentive and informative. I am looking forward to returning soon."

  • "Will definitely go back! Cerviche was amazing...I usually have a medium salsa if I buy it but the MILD cerviche had plenty of kick! Great variety of steak and seafood. We had mostly shrimp and seafood. LOTS of garlic which we love. Very cute place. Small about 20 seats or so. Nicely decorated. Very helpful waitress."

  • "Simply put, the restaurant has the most unique menu and the finest prepared food that I have experienced in a very long time. The two best things I can say is a) I recommend everyone go and b) I'm returning."

  • "We have dined at Quenas about 6 times and we have never been disapointed in the food. I love the Paella, and their seafood dishes. The waitress/owner could not be nicer or more interested in making your experience delightful."

  • "A small ethnic, family run restaurant that brings evident prideful attention to the creativity and quality of the cuisine, decor and service. On a warm summer night, enjoy relaxed back yard dining with recorded Peruvian music, heavy on panpipes, in the background. The Leche de Tigre civeche appetizer was a slight bit too spicy for my taste I like spicy) but you can order to suit your own tolerance. I tried some of the Cauasa Rellena (potato cake flavored with lime and stuffed with chicken) appetizer that my wife ordered, andIi highly recommend it. The seafood in the Peruvian Paella entree tasted very fresh and although I did not decipher the scented Andean herbs at play, I experienced the the dish as pleasantly flavorful."
