The salmon was not my favorite entree here, but it was tasty. The potato gratin is always delicious. The menu offers a nice variety of items, all basically a la carte, and on the expensive side. Our steaks were excellent and done just as we asked. We shared the Alsatian salad and the au gratin potatoes and enjoyed them both. But the dining area is particularly large, and when you have the 555 Steakhouse several blocks away it must be hard to compete. Prices range is expensive, not moderately so, and everything is ala carte, so if you want a potato or brussels sprouts with your entree, cha-ching $ha-$hing. The food was very good though, as well as the service. We ordered two glasses of port wine ($21 each) to go with our raspberry chocolate cake for desert. They were out of the port wine, and the cake tasted like it came out of a box from the refrigerator. Stick with the steak and skip the desert and you'll leave with a memorable experience. Since I was going to celebrate a special occasion with my significant other and she likes steaks I figured this would be a good place. found out later she had already been here before but I had not and I loved it.The service was EXCELLENT, to eat I had the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake as an appetizer, the Queensview Steakhouse Feature for two with Brussels sprouts and a bake potato. I have no complaints what so ever. To drink I tried the queens view punch and also this other drink with vodka and rosemary that was really good. As for the prices, I wasn't surprised because I knew it was a nice place and I wasn't upset to pay it either. Food overall was very good. Some of it was excellent and equalled the cost. Some not so much.
