Champagne brunch at the Queen Mary was $50 per person. I would say its worth it because you get full access to the entire ship. Having brunch there was such a beautiful experience. The ship and it's history is amazing, the view from the top deck, spectacular. And the food, delicious!! Will defenetly stop there again the next time we're in Long Beach

The food choices were abundant. The service was outstanding! Servers were attentive to all needs of our group of 12. We even had a minor emergency, which servers callled the medics & they were down to help within minutes. Beautiful room, full of history. Lots to see on the ship which makes this a whole days adventure. A great time for all ages!

But the food choices are plenty enough. The atmosphere is very busy and noisy - this is not a place for a date. The service was excellent - they kept our champagne glasses full at all times. It's pricy for the food but adequate when you calculate it with the great service.

We have been coming to the Queen Mary for 35 years. Over the last 2 or 3 years the quality of sevice and food has gone down hill. When we were seated, it took 15 minutes for a waiter to come over and pour the orange juice, coffe and champagne. We asked for a clean napkin and more champagne, he actually made a face and huffed. Really? If you dont like the people or job, then dont work there. The tables where they served the food, were most times half empty. They just didnt stay on top of refilling. It will be awhile before we return.

The most amazing champagne brunch that I have ever had & enjoying it on the Queen Mary made it even better! The crabs legs are so amazing & flavorful along with the refillable champagne the whole time. There wasn't one thing I hate that I did like. I decided to eat there before I boarded my cruise on Carnival and am so glad that I did! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Lovely brunch with grand ship decor, live entertainment, and great food selection. Choices included cold seafood, asian, italian, mexican, traditional breakfast items and a dessert bar. Had bottomless mimosas :) and coffee. Tablemate saw someone with a different cocktail so I'm not sure if it was included (bloody mary?) or bar service (extra $ ?). Service was friendly, prompt and efficient. Ship is interesting to roam around after the brunch (guided tours are available for a fee), making for a "cruise like" experience without the expense of an actual cruise. An elegant choice to celebrate any occasion.

I cannot fault this restaurant, excellent food and service and great value for money. Personal touch included as it was a birthday celebration and they bought out a slice of cake with a candle and sang happy birthday. The choice of food was amazing, thank you. Great for groups. Not sure about kids. Bottomless flow of mimosas and amazing king crab legs. The omelet station was a hit but aside from that, all the other stations was ordinary. The crepe station was weak as none of the fruits were fresh, bkueberries and strawberries were heavily soaked in syrup and no bananas- seriously??? However, did like the live music as it brought an old school jazz vibe to the ambiance. Service was average as our host did come by often to pour champagne and coffee. We were upset no one from our wait staff or front desk ask if we needed validation for our parking ticket. After spending $200 for 4 people you sort of expect that kind of service. I will come back again for the king crab legs and the view.

Took my wife to the Queen Mary for our 20th anniversary to see how she lit up knowing we are going to eat there was good enough for me The food was out of this world the fish was fresh the prime rib melt in your mouth. Lets just say it was outstanding food!!!!! the service was great. They brought a plate with these two different cheese cakes that was so creamy no heavy and around the plate they wrote Happy 20th Anniversary made us feel special. The ship made you felt like you were back in time.. I will come again even if its not a special occasion...

My partner and I have been going to the Queen Mary Sunday Brunch for over a year. This most recent time was to celebrate his birthday. We had reservations for 12:30, arrived at 12:15 and were seated promptly. The crowd was less than I expected which lead me to wonder why I couldn't obtain a reservation for anything earlier. The food was very good, the champagne flowed, and the harpist as usual made for a perfect setting. We lingered at our table until around 2 and left. We enjoyed it very much.

The food was good, but would probably try somewhere else if we we're going to the Long Beach area as the service wasn't good. Because the coffee cups were so small (I'm a coffee drinker), I was proactive and asked them to come by frequently. That didn't happen. We asked for bloody mary's and was told it wasn't possible, than a group 1 table over had them? We eventually were able to order, but was told they didn't like to go to the bar because it's 3 floors up + they were busy? Thought busy was the goal? Would prefer dining at a place that appreciates your business.

Both the food and the service were extraordinary. The food was elegantly displayed and delicious. The waiters were very attentive and always present to ensure that every detail was handled to meet our wishes. With a party of 5, the attendees ranged from meat eaters to non-meat eaters; everyone left completely satisfied. We had reservations for 9:30 on a Sunday morning; therefore we were one of the first parties to be seated. I recommend early arrival as we encountered no one in lines at any of the food tables. In fact, we were the first to visit the omelette chef. We enjoyed our meal and engaged in lively conversation for 2 hours without the slightest hint of rushing from any of the staff members. A perfect outing!

We had a one night stay on the Queen Mary in September 2014 and, as it was a Sunday, also booked for the Champagne Sunday Brunch as we'd heard was a "not to be missed" event. They weren't wrong. It was a fabulous brunch/lunch in superb surroundings. The food choice was amazing with food from around the world. There were dessert and cheese/fruit sections with pancakes and waffles made to you delight. There was also unlimited champagne and/or orange juice and coffee afterwards. The Grand Salon where the brunch is held is a gorgeous room that transports you back in time to the Queen Mary's heyday and the harpist playing to you through lunch adds to the ambiance. Want to do it again ASAP!!

We stayed aboard the Queen Mary and had birthday brunch here on the day we were departing. As expected it is an elaborate affair, we went later (1pm) to avoid the rush. The brunch is in a huge, beautiful salon. The endless champagne and OJ were great, our servers were really sweet. The best food options for us were the Mexican/taco section and the breakfast food. We are not big on seafood so that was a big missed section and some of the desserts sadly did not taste as good as they looked but the made to order omelettes were fabulous! Its a lot of money and I don't think its possible to eat that much (we didn't eat at all before coming but were stuffed quickly) so its not worth it for the food but for the champagne and the atmosphere yes!

I expected a brunch similar to the Ritz Carlton. I hoped the dining room would have been more grand but it was very casual and much like a cafeteria with white table cloths. The staff presence was spotty and very slow. A cup of coffee took forever and a refill was impossible. For the champagne drinkers at the table, they were given a top off 5 minutes after the first pour, and never saw another drop. We stacked our plates at the end of the table to get them removed, often with a back up. The food was the saving grace. With plenty of good options, all the food trays full and steamy, there were no complaints from the table. Salad bar and fruit options were sadly lacking and the desserts were the biggest disappointment of the day.

The Champagne Brunch at The Queen Mary is my #1 brunch spot. Set inside the former First Class restaurant, the atmosphere and food layout is nothing short of amazing. A harpist fills the room with lovely music, the champagne NEVER stops flowing, and several service tables of food fill any appetite. I've been here a few times now and surely will be coming back.

I cannot rave enough about this excellent experience. The staff was dignified but friendly; fawned over us and we felt pampered. The harpist played an excellent selection of recognizable tunes with a days-gone-by hint to her adaption. The variety and quality of the Sunday Buffet was superior and we enjoyed the multitude of ethnic choices. We found nothing to fault and everything to applaud. Despite a huge crowd, due to the layout of the tables there was never a wait to get food. Dishes were kept plentifully refilled and everything was appropriately hot or cold, fresh and crispy, and remarkably flavorful for being a buffet. This will now be an annual event when we visit Long Beach.

The attraction is dining on The Queen Mary; not the Sunday Brunch. Hot foods were mostly cool. Cold foods such as crab and shrimp were slow in replenishing. Most servers and cooks could not or barely speak English. Nice variety of foods but mostly aimed towards Mexican and Chinese foods. Parking cost is outrageous even with a validation stamp. For the money, I'll stick with Sunday Brunch at The Reef.

I would only recommend it for a special occasion and the ambiance of being on the Queen Mary. The food is average and over priced. The only thing the champagne is delicious and free flowing. Our champagne waiter was fabulous. Great mimosas! The staff need to drink a few mimosas and get HAPPY! We thought we had a good table waiter until he began to discuss his tip and the way people don't give enough. And discussed his disappointment about his own people from his country. Then to top it off he had the same conversation with the table next to us. And finally he argued, gave attitude to my son while paying the bill. The staff needs to get HAPPY! From the arrival to the departure. I would not return, for the price not worth it.

The Sunday brunch was delicious and a lovely setting with a great waiter and waitresses, It was our 55 Anniversary so was special to eat and sleep on the Queen Mary. We played Bridge a couple of times on the Q.M. but were unable to get into the restaurants for dinner as there was a long wait. We live in Huntington Beach so it was about time we spent some time on the ship. The bad thing was that we parked under a tree and the ants invaded our car - at least a thousand. But we had a wonderful time.

The Sunday Brunch aboard the Queen Mary was outstanding, all except the desserts. I sampled maybe eight of the dozen plus desserts, and all but a few were disappointing for a high caliber brunch. They were either too sweet, filling was not made with real whipped cream, or just didn't taste fresh and delicious. I suggest that a new dessert menu be created or a new pastry chef be hired, or both.

This was our first time for brunch at the Queen Mary. It was little hectic getting in to say the least. Jazz festival, cruise ship, Princess Diana's jewels and the like added to the mass of people and traffic. Once inside the room the old world charm at every corner took your breath away. The harp player was a treat to listen to. A quick trip of the brunch tables to view the selections and we were ready to settle down for a great afternoon. The selection of food was excellent. Something for every taste and I made my way through breakfast lunch and dinner. Delicious !!! Service was friendly and fast. We completed our afternoon sipping cocktails at the bar. It was a little pricey compared to other brunches around town but truly enjoyable.
