  • "Brunch on the Queen Mary is always a special occasion but when you have brunch on Easter it's even more special. The food selection and variety are top notch. And where else does a harpist entertain throughout the meal? Only negatives this visit where that the servers seemed to be stretched thin and not as attentive as usual and the food really needs labels as we aren't all good at guessing what the food items are. • "The Sunday Brunch food selections are always a treat. If you leave the ship hungry after eating at the brunch, it's your own fault. I highly recommend this restaurant. Plus, you can make a few laps around the ship to walk off a desert or two."

  • "The ship provided a cool setting for brunch and excellent service"

  • "Outstanding brunch in every way - food, service and location. Every though there were a large number of guests in attendance the staff handled everything beyond my expectations. The food was kept fresh, the variety was very broad, something for everyone."

  • "We wouldn't recommend it but we would tell others to go if they want to check out the boat and have brunch on the boat. The food was okay, we thought the price would reflect the food choices."

  • "It was a real nice experience. Would have loved to hear the harp a little louder, perhaps more microphones or volume turned up. Waitress wasn't real friendly and a bit slow, still left a $60 tip! Perhaps a little more attention to the tables they are assigned. It could have been this one waitress or a bad day for her? We all have them. It's just for the price one pays, one would like better service."

  • "The presentation was phenomenal, the variety of items was absolutely unreal. But for all the glitz and glamor, the permeating aire of luxury was harshly attenuated by the temperature of the food. With the exception of the omelet, every hot food item was at best warm, and often cool. If only they could have closed this temperature gap. The wait personnel were clearly understaffed. We saw our server only three times. Go to this buffet--support the Queen Mary. Perhaps we caught them on an off day. A little bit of quality assurance would have made this unforgettable. On a good day, every item offered at the Queen Mary's buffet would compete with an à la carte equivalent in any of Los Angeles' finest restaurants."

  • "I have NEVER been treated more like an important person in my life!!! I am not and this was my 1st Sunday Bruch. And, it was my birthday gift from my loving husband, Reginald Butler and my daughter, Zelma Butler. The food, service and atmosphere was absolutely amazing!!! If possible, I would like to attend another meal there no matter the reason. Thank You So Much!!!"

  • "We started with a stroll around the ship and met a delightful old guy who was fascinating about the history of Queen Mary. Then brunch in beautiful Grand salon. Not too crowded so no queuing necessary. Lovely harpist playing, delicious food with fantastic choice, and plenty of refills of champagne, orange juice and iced water. Charming waiters. Altogether a great day out......."

  • "Since my table is close to the harpe music,it gave me the great romantic feeling. Although I enjoyed the brunch by myself, I really enjoyed the first brunch. I would like to come back and enjoy the brunch here with my wife and family. They are now living in Japan. And I also really appreciate the person in front to arrange the best table for me. Everything was fantastic."

  • "I highly recommend the Queen Mary Sunday Brunch. The food and service were excellent, the Mimosa's tasty, and the Cello player was wonderful. The brunch had an incredible selection of foods, and it was very romantic with the music and very elegant. We also stayed on board for 2 nights and our stay was AMAZING!"

  • "What a wonderfully beautiful experience, a great place to celebrate our 60th birthdays. The food was outstanding so well placed and delicious, everything you could want and more. The prime rib and shrimp and eggs benedict were by far worth the trip, and the desserts. The champagne was flowing but the water and coffee was just a little slow in coming. The harpist was so fitting for the beauty of the ballroom. Checking in to our room first and then reflexology foot massages afterwards made our stay complete."

  • "This was my second visit at the Queen Mary Champagne Brunch and It was even better than the first! Absolutely adore the atmosphere, and the food makes it that much more memorable! I am recommending this to everyone I know!"

  • "I gave this brunch a good review only because of the fantastic service and the beautiful decor. The food was very well laid out, attractively done but the taste left a lot to be desired. I tried a pasta dish that presented as an alfredo (possibly), the only thing I could taste was butter, it was devoid of salt or any other seasoning. This was a common theme throughout the meal."

  • "The staff kept our glasses filled with champagne and orange juice and whisked away the dirty plates quickly. The seafood bar was great., as was the chille relleno, the sweet & sour chicken, omelettes, waffles . . The pasta offerings were tasty, but I missed being able to enjoy a tomato-based marinara sauce. A harpist played, adding to our enjoyment. We ended the meal, with what else, a trip to the dessert bar. We shared desserts because there were so many delicious items to choose from, including the crepes, cakes & petite fours. All in all, we had another great time at the best Sunday brunch location in Southern California."

  • "It's was on my mother's bucket lust to visit the Queen Mary. I was able to treat her a lovely brunch with friends onboard and it was really wonderful. The food, the harpist, the slight starboard list of the ship were all perfect contributors to our afternoon."

  • "Had my son's 21st birthday party there. Very nice experience, Grand Hall is majestic Live music is excellent good selection of cold cuts excellent desserts parking validation ability to walk and explore the ship without price of admission A bit pricy. Hot foods selection i.e. steak cuts is small themed food selection i.e mexian or italian: unorganized"

  • "Never disappointing, especially since we have a 56 mile drive from Rancho Cucamonga to Long Beach, Ca. The best Sunday Brunch in Long Beach so it is always worth the trip."

  • "I saw pictures online, but being there is an experience to remember! The food was first rate, the champagne delicious, and the opulence of the ship was awe inspiring! Overall, I give it five out of five stars! Thanks to our server and the entire staff for making us feel so welcome!"

  • "As a regular visitor to the Queen Mary from the UK, I already knew that the Sunday Brunch was a legend - both for the variety and quality of the food and the superb venue. This time I brought my wife with me on her first visit to the United States, and for our return flight back to the UK we chose an airline with a 10pm departure so we would be able to enjoy the Sunday Brunch! It never fails to impress, and we eagerly look forward to returning to the QM in the not too distant future. Long Live Queen Mary! I feel fairly confident that nothing served aboard the "city blocks with funnels" that dock at the nearby cruise terminal could come close to it for sheer style and elegance!"

  • "This is our third trip to the Brunch on the Queen Mary. Food was incredible, setting is amazing. We spent the night and had brunch Sunday AM. Selection was better than almost every brunch I have ever had. Quality is top notch. Especially loved the seafood selection."

  • "Hosts were prompt; Wonderful Harp player; love the commodore going around to socialize with everyone, OJ & champagne were promptly refilled. Over all ambience is very good. The food is not comparable to other brunches and it's obvious that we are paying a lot more for the venue. The crab legs are not consistently fresh; I had two servings, seems like the first ones I got were from last week's brunch left over. It tasted that way. Caesar salad looked old nobody even touched it, It decreased the over all quality of the whole spread, just don't do it. I loved the cheese platter; the prime rib, the roasted vegetable and the dessert selection is average. My companion was happy to have gone to Queen Mary but the food could have been much better."

  • "The Queen Mary brunch never disappoints! I've been several times, but the latest time was for my anniversary with my boyfriend. The food is delicious! Definitely recommend this champagne brunch. I also recommend sitting in Pascuál's section. He was awesome. He never let our glasses run out of water or champagne. He definitely made the experience even better than it already was. We will be dining here again very soon"

  • "This is one of the best brunch experiences I have every had. The cost of $50 per person seemed a bit expensive, but our group of 5 was celebrating a special occasion and agreed to try it -- and we are so glad we did !! The service was fantastic and the experience was genuinely unique -- it takes place in the first class dining room of the Queen Mary and included live Harp music. All of this greatness was dwarfed by the incredible selection and quality of the buffet -- this is now our family's new special occasion tradition !"

  • "Very much enjoyed the Sunday Brunch in the grand salon on board the Queen Mary, March 2014. The food is very good, with a huge selection of hot and cold, savoury and sweet food. There is seating for lots of people but the room is not too noisy and there is plenty of space between tables, so you can still have a private conversation. The wait staff are attentive."

  • "An absolutely tremendous experience! The food was great. Couldn't sample all the varieties! Had ordered flowers for my wife's birthday. The waiter soon caught on and arrived sometime after with the staff and a dessert to sing to her!"

  • "One of the better brunches around. Endless champagne, wide variety of food choices all while serenaded by a harp player. After the meal you get to wander around the ship for free. We sit on the deck lounge chairs, soak up the sun and let my imagination take me back to the ships heyday. Great way to spend a day."

  • "What an enjoyable brunch experience! I've been to many brunches and this ranks up there with the best of them. Pricey but well worth your time. The ambience makes you feel like you are a first class passenger dining in the grand ballroom. There was live music, the lady playing tunes from the Beatles on the Harp added to the atmosphere and made the experience more memorable. Food was excellent, lots of fresh entrees including dessert and offcourse all you can drink champagne! Afterwards, you get a chance to explore a piece of maritime history!"

  • "Was disappointed to find that because we stayed more than three hours on the ship (including our meal and shopping), we had to pay the full parking rate because our validation was only effective if you stayed for less than three hours. Should have a pro-rated rate. Enjoying the property should not mean forfeiting the benefit of validated parking."

  • "The Queen Mary employees are so friendly and they make you feel right at home. It is very organized and clean. There is so much space to walk around. I have come with a group of three, group of six and the last one was a group of eleven. Each time was very accomodating. It is easy to make a reservation online and if changes are made, it is possible. Make sure to do it a head of time so you get the number of seats and time. You do get your monies worth. Thank you so much!!!!! I will come again."

  • "What a gorgeous bruncheon experience! Arrived early greater happily and shown to our table promptly. What a beautiful dining room! The drink service was impeccable, a class act the entire time!"

  • "I was a little disappointed by the quality of the food. For $50/person, I would think that they would at least put a little effort into ensuring the fruit was ripe and the dishes were seasoned properly. It was kind of bland and once the waiter decided we were done, we got the bill and they never came back to refill our coffee/champagne/water even though we had gotten another plate. We thought we could eat slowly and enjoy our drinks and conversation, but instead we felt rushed & ignored. I thought it would be as nice a the Wynn buffet brunch in Vegas but sadly it was not. I don't think I'll come back here for that price!"
