We visited for Sunday brunch. Food was not as fresh as in the past. Most of the meats that were used in various dishes was dried out. Missed having the whole smoked Salmon. Other than the Ceviche and Caviar Bar the food was tired and boring.

Second time to try Beef Carpaccio (first time was in Paris, though I don't really remember!) and realize this is an Italian dish. Not as intimidating as I thought, since I was always skeptical about consuming raw meat. It actually tastes pretty good. My striped bass was ok (I was not impressed). We got a free after-meal drink for celebrating birthday there. Yay!

The good: Some of dishes were very good. The mushroom risotto and Scapece Di Polpo And Shrimp were especially good. The tiramisu dessert was superb. The service was attentive, friendly, and professional. The bad: A few dishes missed the mark. The beef lasagna was tasteless, and the salmon main was not very good. The short ribs were OK. The portions were irritatingly microscopic. Given the high prices, I would have expected more than a couple bites. The prices for the small cocktails were also way out of line.

My wife and I went to Sunday brunch for her birthday and thoroughly enjoyed every delicious bite and sip of Houston's best brunch. Breakfast station? Made-to-order omelets or benedicts. Meats. Pastries. Fruits. Waffles and more. Salads? Several green. Seafood pasta. Cauliflower. Brussels Sprouts. Portabellas and more. Cold seafood? Shrimp. Crab claws. Salmon. Ceviche. Along with 4 or 5 different types of sushi. Cheeses and charcuterie? You bet. Hot Foods? Served from the kitchen. 2 soups. Flatbreads. Two carved meats. Several entrees of the day [paella for us]. Grilled veggies. Pasta made-to-order. Desserts? About 10 different bite sized choices plus a bread pudding. Drinks? Bottomless mimosas, bubbly and bloody marys. Such a treat!!

Lets see... They didnt check us in so I had to go through a whole process of responding to inquiries and actually scanning in my receipt to PROVE I dined there. Which is funny since we were the first couple there. So they couldnt have been rushed - although that is the excuse Open Table gave me. I ordered mushroom risotto - they forgot the mushrooms. Brought them out when i was already halfway done - not the server NOR the manager apologized. A bigger table (LOUDER) came in after us and got most of the attention. We were the only people in there, funny they set a huge loud table next to just a couple dining. But ok. For the cost (and we love trying new fancy places) I wouldnt be back.

My husband and I dined at Quattro last Friday night. We decided on Quattro based on us having delicious room service dining at The Four Seasons. Our waiter's name was Ciro. He believed he "made" the evening with his quick unobtrusive service and great personality. I ordered the heirloom tomato salad, risotto, and short rib. All cooked to perfection. My husband had the cauliflower soup and the special which was a homemade pasta just made a couple hours prior. We couldn't find anything we really wanted on the dessert menu. I was full, but my husband was set on bananas foster ( which is not on the menu.) he mentioned in to Ciro, and in minutes we were at the chef's table in the kitchen having it personally prepared. Now that is service.

I've lived in Houston since 1980 and have grown into a foodie. Love a new restaurant, a new menu and everything about trying a new spot. I've grown to realize that if the first visit wasn't what I expected and everyone else loves it then give it another shot. Perhaps I ordered the wrong item or it was an off night. While the service was what I expected the menu and the food just wasn't up to my expectations. Menu incredibly small for a Four Seasons. What we did order was okay but 3 star, not 5 star worthy. With the amount of time they've been open and the years I've wanted to try them I expected more. And I'll make an exception and not give them another try.

The food and service was absolutely wonderful. We chose Quattro out of all of the other Houston Restaurant Week options because of the vast quantity of gluten free options. I have found gluten free pasta can be kind of gummy or chewy and their pasta was amazingly good, you could not taste the difference at all. The eggplant parmesan was the BEST I have ever had. The service was incredible, everyone was friendly and knowledgeable and made great recommendations. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

We went there during restaurant week, and usually restaurants really reduce the size of the portions, but this wasn't the case at Quattro. The food was delicious, presentation outstanding and the service just great. I will be going back a lot. I guess I would say that the place is casual and welcoming, great vibe, and best of all, you could carry on a conversation - it wasn't a place that is so loud that you can't hear each other.

all staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. Used travelzoo voucher, no problem. valet parking included, tip only. took us on a tour to let us know where everything was (different areas) buffet was exceptional, only issues were getting servers attention and running out of Belgian waffles. Plenty of caviar, great cold seafood galore (shrimp, crab claws, cerviche). Breakfast items were great. hot items included a really juicy ham with honey mustard sauce and tortilla soup which were both very good. Met my expectations which were high. desserts were very good. Forgot to mention mango bellini and champagne. Not as lavish or varied as thanksgiving, but plenty of good options and food is well prepared and presented.

Our waitress was fabulous. I mentioned it was my 40th anniversary at my job and without being asked she brought a specially made anniversary desert for me! I missed not having the tasty Mango iced tea and the tortilla soup both of which were not available that day. We had a very nice window booth with plenty of room and a nice view. The décor had been updated and looked quite good. I have been going here for many years for a nice, quiet and refreshing dining experience.

We hit Quattro this past Sunday for its over-the-top brunch. While the food was as good and bountiful as it has ever been, the service had slipped noticeably since our last brunch visit. At $55 per person, this is not a weekly or even monthly splurge; however, the fare does include bottomless mimosas, champagne, bloody mary's [and on this day a mango belini]. Lots of breakfast choices including eggs to order, breads, waffles, french toast and meats. A large spread of cold seafoods, sushi and prepared salads was probably our favorite station. Nice cheese and charcuterie table. Hot foods from IN the kitchen were probably my least favorite although I loved the carved ham. My only quibble is that my mimosa was not always timely refilled
