Quattro - Four Seasons Hotel - HoustonNice place for dinnerFood and service were both terrific. Kids loved it as well. Moderately-priced. Nice wine list. Great place to grab lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch. Highly recommend.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMFood/Waitor were greatThe food was really good. I would need a 2nd visit to see how I feel about the place. It was a little empty for a Saturday night, but it could have been for a number of reasons, or maybe most of their business is done during the week. Our waitor was very nice and professional. He checked on us several times, and always smiled. Good location, good prices, good staff, and most importantly, good food.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMDinnerThe only thing that was not done correctly, was two steak tenderloins ordered. They were not cooked to the guests specifications. However, one meal was comped, and dessert was also comped. That did ease the disappointment.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Anniversary dinner!Me and the wife enjoyed a nice Sunday evening here. It wasn't very crowded at all so the mood was very quiet -- a lovely table overlooking the front of the Four Seasons. Excellent waiter service from Manuel and his attendings.
The INSALATA DI AUTUNNO was excellent -- the combination of figs and pine nuts was absolutely delicious in our salad. The PROSCUITTO E PAPPA AL POMODORO was probably the only dish of the entire meal that we didn't enjoy -- the plating was excellent...but the pomodoro just tasted a little too salty for our taste.
For the main course, we tried the Salmon and Chilean Sea Bass. Both were excellent. For dessert, we were told to try the tiramisu...and it did not disappoint.
All and all, an excellent meal!6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMenjoyable experience. ourenjoyable experience. our server, ahmet, was courteous and prompt.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMQuiet adult atmosphereQuattro had a quiet atmosphere with a highly attentive, friendly staff. The food was excellent, especially the special that night the shrimp risotto. Staff was able to make wine recommendation that complemented both meals and satisfied our diverse tastes in a wine. The chef's parting gift of cookies was a nice touch.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had brunch at 11:00am.We had brunch at 11:00am. The website said the attire was smart casual but you can go in just about any clothing you wish. People wore flip flops to business suits. The layout was impressive and the staff were very friendly and helpful.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day BrunchThis year's theme was French-inspired and it was great! I loved the cheeses but my daughter thought they were stinky! I always use open table to book my mother's day and easter brunch at the 4 seasons and it works beautifully! The food and service was impeccable!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day BrunchExcellent event in all aspects. We must particularly commend the staff and Mr Kuiper for the hospitality shown.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMmother's day brunch - decadentWe went to Quattro for Mother's Day brunch so I'm not sure how it stacks up on other occasions, but what we experienced was fantastic - completely decadent, over-the-top options including a caviar station, an array of pate, lamb ribs with black truffle butter, an amazing dessert station, and more. They also had a "Decorate Your Own Cupcake" station which was really creative and great for families. I would highly highly recommend it for special occasions.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGlutton FreeThe glutton free option was excellent and the pasta outstanding, the staff was well versed on the subject and made sure you were not served anything with glutton in it. It was not a "chore" for them to accommodate you, it was their pleasure.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMDecadent BrunchWe walked over to the Four Seasons Sunday morning for Quattro's famed Sunday Brunch. And 2 hours later, we waddled out after having tried what seems like a little of everything. 1st things 1st: this Brunch is not cheap. At $55 per person, it's not an every week--or even every month--event. BUT that price DOES include bottomless mimosas, champagne and/or bloody marys.
Stars included: chicken tikka masala, rotisserie chicken, indiv beef wellingtons, cold boiled shrimp, portabellas, sushi, omelets, sausages, caviar, lox, cheese & fruit.
A quick tip: although brunch "starts" at 10;30, the breakfast station didn't transition to brunch mode til 10:45 and the id placards on the salads and hot foods were not out till then either.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMSeriously goodWhile Quattro is always a dependable place for a good business lunch, I have rarely been wowed here. Dinner here is a very different experience. This is serious Italian food at a very reasonable price (considering the quality).5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMBest brunch in TexasI am a bruch "Junkie". And have enjoyed Sunday brunch around the United States. The Quattro at the Four Seasons is the best buffet I have ever experianced. Wonderful selection, excellent service. What else would you expect at a Four Seasons?4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMDrinksIt was great but the only thing I would change is for the waiter or waitress to bring the drinks more promptly without me having to ask after my glass being empty over 15 min. Other than that we enjoyed it4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent setting and service.Excellent setting and service. Not much for hotel restaurants, but Quattro was a big hit. Ordered the Insalate Primavera and Osso Buco...both were excellent. A bit too much mashed potatoes at bottom of braising pot the OB is served in for my taste, but the shank was prepared very well.
Would highly recommend.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMThouroughly enjoyed my dinner.Thouroughly enjoyed my dinner. The food was excellent, the service was exceptional, and the ambience was perfect!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMWow! This place is fantastic.Wow! This place is fantastic. While the food is great and the selection is unbelievable, it's the brunch experience that makes Quatro THE PLACE to go! With the brunch laid out across the restaraunt,it's almost overwhelming. With bottomless champaign, mimosas, and bloody mary's, the price tag becomes much more reasonable. If you are planning a special event or just want to treat yourself, brunch at Quatro can't be beat!4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMOur waiter, Sapko, was fantastic!!!Our waiter, Sapko, was fantastic!!! I have yet to be thoroughly dissatisfied with any experience at Quattro3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMHappy ReturnI had not lunched here in many years and returned to a great dinning experience.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was wonderful to rediscoverIt was wonderful to rediscover Quattro. We had a delicious meal and attentive service. The house salad was wonderful - goat cheese and figs, how can you go wrong? Two of the party had the snapper and both gave it rave reviews. I opted for the salmon and was equally happy. The meal was truly special - kudos to the chef. And even better - we were able to have a conversation with our dining companions without shouting! We will be returning. The only downside - a wedding or other event at the hotel made parking a nightmare. Valets were doing their best to keep up with it.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is an perfect optionThis is an perfect option for a downtown business dinner as it is quiet and the food is excellent.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMbreakfast options were a bitbreakfast options were a bit disappointing and only one server on the egg station, but the berries were delicious!3/10/2013 12:00:00 AMHAD A GREAT DINNER WITH LOVELYHAD A GREAT DINNER WITH LOVELY WINE.
