The second location of acclaimed Manhattan restaurant Quality Meats has opened in an historic Bancroft hotel in the heart of Miami Beach. Award-winning designers AvroKO created a stripped-down Art Deco atmosphere with raw edges and warm textural details. The family-owned butcher shops found throughout New York City inspired the flagship Quality Meats, and here the concept is married with the beauty of worn Art Deco details in a Miami setting. The hotel’s original check-in desk now serves as a butcher counter, the former reception desk functions as a service bar, and a custom meat-hook chandelier is the centerpiece for the main bar and lounge.

Quality Meats offers a menu that enhances elements of a classic butchery with large cuts of beef that are cured, smoked or aged in-house. Diners can expect hearty, flavorful dishes such as a short rib for two, double tomahawk rib steak and roasted suckling pig, along with a variety of enticing seafood.

We arrived at the restaurant and were seated immediately as per our reservation. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of everything and he catered to our every thought. It was My fiancé’s birthday So I asked to have a dessert customized to honor it. They went above and beyond my expectations. Even as far as to having the GM and Exec. Chef sign a Personal Birthday cars for her. I’ll definitely be returning here and I strongly suggest it to anyone interested. *We are from Lafayette, Louisiana.*

Food was underwhelming. Octopus was fantastic as was the appetizer bread and watermelon. However, entree was just ok. Decent seasoning on the branzino. Waitress was nice but forgot twonitems we ordered. The place was not packed at all due to the virus. She may have forgotten our entire if sheactually had to multitask

Service was excellent, portions were very large, waiters and staff were very attentive. Food and steaks were excellent as well.

Nette Atmosphäre und gute Steaks. Hatten 2mal das Wein Dinner. Da uns der Rote nicht so zusagte, wurde er in einen Cabernet Sauvignon aus den USA getauscht, sehr ordentlich! Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Portionen sind groß. Wir haben draußen gesessen und die Märzwärme genossen. Würden wieder hingehen.

Server was awful. Lied to us about wine to try and get us to purchase more expensive bottles. Service was so slow- 3 hr dinner with 14 people.
