Quality Meats is a contemporary restaurant that serves a rustic New American menu.

The varied menu focuses on modern interpretations of classic dishes such as Traditional Steak Tartare, Caesar Salad and Roasted Bone Marrow, in addition to several cuts of beef from legendary New York butchers Milton Abeles and Strassburger Meats.
The restaurant's side dishes alone merit a trip with innovative house specialties, including Corn Crème Brulee, Gnocchi and Cheese and Edamame with Mint Salt. The Quality Meats chefs are Craig Koketsu (Lespinasse, Stars) as executive chef and Cory Colton (Lespinasse, St.Regis) on pastry. The restaurant has a warm industrial atmosphere, created by award-winning AvroKO and features intimate dining areas, a comfortable bar area with well-stocked charcuterie bar.

The food (4.5 stars) and service (5) at Quality Meats were excellent. Our daughter (14mo.) was traveling with us and the staff was friendly and helpful - not at all what you would expect for a mid-town rest. Food was excellent - only complaint was the farmer's salad was just average - but everything else was exceptional - loved the baked oysters! The aged bone-in sirloin was fantastic - I can still taste it! Only negative was the music was just a bit intrusive. Otherwise, had a great time and would go again.

We had lovely evening in Quality Meats. Atmosphere and service was great. The food was a bit too rich for our group. Everything seemed to have cheese or something similar on it. I think the menu would benefit from having a steak smaller than the 12oz fillet. It's quite large for one person to finish. As the name suggests this restuarant is not suitable for vegetarians. We had pre-warned the restaurant that one of our group was a vegetarian (she obligingly came along for the rest of us) and although the manager said they were all set for us, they didn't cater for her food needs at all.

Went for our 10th anniversary on Easter night. While the room was loud, it was vibrant and not at all a negative. Our server (either Delaney or Delancey?) was absolutely excellent... great personality, great service, excellent wine recommendation! The porterhouse for 2 was the best I have ever had! Very interesting wine list... we had a Croation red from Grgic that was perfect with the steak. And to top it off, glasses of champagne and an amazing molten chocolate cake with fig ice cream sporting a personalized anniversary congrats... all compliments of the house. My best friend's favorite restaurant is del Frisco's but I am recommending that he trade it out permanently for Quality Meats. BRAVO!!!!
