    The Stewart Family Proprietors' Dining Room is adjacent to our Wine Tasting Room and offers seating for up to 36 guests and a stand up event of up to 50 guests. This technically equipped facility is an exceptional venue for private, corporate, or family events as well as wine-related tours. The window surrounded dining room provides a spectacular view of the vineyard and Lake Okanagan. Guests can enjoy the late day breeze of Okanagan Lake from the terrace balcony off the private dining room. Other private function options are available as well. Our Quails' Gate wines, hand-crafted by wine maker Ross Baker, are available along with a choice of group menu options which reflect the fresh regional cuisine of our Winery Chef, Roger Sleiman.

    Quail is a great place. Staff are always attentive and pay attention to detail. We enjoy lunch as sometimes it is a little quieter. This visit we had arctic char and the chicken entrees which were both very good. Lunch or dinner, it is a great place to dine with fantastic views and food! And of course, the wine! K Taylor

    We traveled to Kelowna for my 30th birthday and chose this restaurant to make the evening special. While the setting was beautiful, I was very disappointed with the service — especially the seating. I made the reservation a month in advance and clearly noted: “Celebrating 30th birthday – a table with a view if possible, thank you!” However, when we arrived, the hostess asked if we preferred indoor or outdoor seating, which made it feel like my note had been completely overlooked. We were then seated at a table right next to the door, with no view at all — just facing the backs of other guests. The receptionist told us there were no other available tables. When we politely asked a different hostess if we could move to a recently vacated table, the staff kept redirecting us between the hostess and the server. It was unclear who was actually responsible for seating. Meanwhile, multiple tables were cleaned and given to other guests, and no one followed up with us. By the time our server — who was lovely and kind — offered to move us, it was already dark and too late to enjoy the view. I just wanted to have my dessert and birthday candle quietly, without any more stress. Normally, I would have spoken up more, but I didn’t want to ruin the mood or the occasion. Ironically, we went to Cactus Club afterward and had an amazing experience with attentive service across the board. In my vlog, I can’t recommend this place until the service improves. The restaurant has great potential, but attention to detail and genuine guest care make all the difference — especially for a special occasion.

    We had a wonderful anniversary evening! The ambiance and scenery was spectacular. We ordered the chef’s menu with wine pairing and all the food and wine was fantastic! Our waitress Crystal was also fantastic and very attentive and professional throughout the entire evening. We would definitely go back!

    My wife her dinner a bit too salty for her liking . She also commented on the women washroom was not up to normal and had no paper towels to dry hands. For me ..both were good .

    Another fantastic dinner at Old Vines Restaurant. I loved the beet soup and the grilled striped bass. Top notch service and very pleasant ambience. Will be back soon.

    Exceptional menu with excellent wines from Quail's Gate. You can't beat the ambience of this restaurant when dining outside. The food quality and service is excellent.
