Q has a huge lawn strewn with balls and toys. Great to sit on the patio, watch the kids burn off steam and enjoy the great beers. They had buckets of peanuts and you could throw the shells on the floor . My 4 yr old thought that was the coolest thing ever. The restaurant is mod, great microbrews, sophisticated menu

We have eaten at Q several times. Don't know what was going on, but I suspect that one or more of the servers failed to show up? Anyway the we waited 30 minutes (I know because I was wearing my new watch) before the waiter came over to take our drink order. Everything was in slow motion. Our food was really great when it finally came! Our waiter was really nice and apologetic for the wait, but there were rumblings of dissatisfaction around us from all of the other tables. I am hopeful that the management of Q Roadhouse will work to improve the organization and efficiency of their wait staff.

I had no hesitation making a decision to dine at Q Roadhouse. The parking lot at the restaurant is always overflowing and the patio appears crowded from the street - good signs, right? Think again. The service moved at a glacial pace. Don't expect speedy drink refills or fresh silverware. The restaurant decor is cinder block meets dusty garage floor - less than appetizing. Speaking of less than appetizing, the food was lacking in everything, especially flavor. The popcorn shrimp batter was crunchy and much too thick, the papaya salad came with deli ham slices thrown carelessly over the top, and the Thai chicken, while drenched in sauce, was somehow suffering from a flavor dry spell. Did not stay for dessert. (Lemonade was good though...)

This was a great find. There is a grassy area next to the deck with sports equipment for the children. Kept the children busy while the parents ordered and relaxed, and gave the diners some entertainment. Food was excellent with some local Buffalo Burgers. Crispy thin Fries. An excellent waiter who was attentive and friendly.

My wife and I went twice in the one week we stayed in Jackson Hole. The food was great both times. They have options for people that eat meat and those that don't, and it is all very good. The honey butter ice cream that came with their corn cake desert was awesome! This is a must visit for anyone is the Jackson Hole area.

I eat at the Q often and the menu changed so I tried the duck pho. There is nothing good I can say about it. I expected duck breast as stated on the menu and what might have been duck was a paper thin slice of something unidentifiable. I would have said something that night but it was a friend's birthday and I didn't want to affect the fun mood. Maybe I shouldn't have gotten Asian food at a bbq restaurant but I expected at least something decent from one of the "Fine Dining" group.

Since our last visit a year ago, the Roadhouse (formerly Q Roadhouse) has morphed into a Gastro-Brewpub gone wide-open-west. It's maintained its overall character but improved by featuring their own house brews. The dishes we had (chicken fried chicken for one) were perfectly prepared. It has a casual atmosphere, perfect for Jackson.

We went there because we were told they had really good ribs. When the waiter brought my ribs, they were cold and obviously taken out of the refrigerator and briefly warmed. I sent them back and the waiter brought me a new plate of ribs which were freshly made but very heavy on the vinegar. The side dishes were good - beans, salad and grits. Wouls I go back there again? No.

We started with a big bowl of fried pickles with cajun remoulade sauce although not my favorite the guys devoured then. The smoked ribs were great but u like mine with more BBQ sauce so they quickly brought out more when I asked Even the sides offered excite the taste buds! The baked beans with shredded smoked pork were to die for. I could have eaten it as a separate entree for lunch if dared. The cole slaw was exceptional with a hint of something I couldn't identify but made me wish I had more. The service was great and worked as a team. We enjoyed sitting by the "real fireplace " in the main dining room. It's definitely on my list to return

Went here on the recommendation of a friend, and I was not disappointed. The food was great as well as the service. However, they were out of ribs that a couple of people in our party would've liked to order. In addition to the noise level (which was quite significant) that was our only complaint!

My husband and I had a very nice table next to the fireplace, and the young man who brought our water noticed the table wobbling and shimmed it for us. We began our meal with fried pickles - they were crispy, briny, and completely addictive. I took the waiter's advice and had the Grilled Coho Salmon w/ chipotle creamed kale over a green pea purée and topped with a buerre blanc and steelhead roe. The fish was cooked perfectly and the pea purée was divine. My only complaint is that there were too many sauces competing for attention. My husband had the Korean Breakfast which was amazing, but very hot for his palate. I wish they'd mentioned the extra hot sauce topping the meal - we could've left that off. Overall terrific & we'll be back!

We had a great meal at the Q. Even our group of "special" eaters (gluten-free, vegan) and 3 kids found something delicious to order. Some of the meals in the past have been extra salty but this winter's menu is seasoned well. The service was attentive and friendly, all the staff could answer menu questions and the ambiance was fun and upbeat. The Q is back on our list of possible weekly date night options...

Also, there were a couple of fish items on the menu that were not available on the night we dined. We would have preferred to order the fish. Fries were dry and tasteless, Brisket was overcooked and dry, Brussels sprouts were dried out, ribs were too well done. So loud I tried to close an interior door so we could talk and hear each-other better. I like smoked meats, but smoke filled the dinning room- hot & hard to breath. We ordered 3 meals (2- ribs w/ fries & a brisket with Brussels sprouts). We had a side of beans and Hush Puppies and ran out of the honey butter after just 3 bite sized balls. It seemed everyone was too busy to come by and ask how everything was. How we get to $75, with all 4 of us drinking warm water (ice cubes melted quickly). I recommend or go back... Go to the Silver Dollar restaurant in town... It's better food for less money!
