  • "If you bill yourself as a steakhouse and have high priced steaks then they should be really tasty, easy to cut and not require sauces to have taste. With that in mind, we were disappointed. The signature T bone took extra effort to cut and was a bit lacking in flavor. The filet too took many strokes to cut. Some of the sauce options, bernaise, chimichurri were interesting but the day you have to put 57 sauce as an option says the steak can't stand alone. Perhaps chef speicals worth price? Not sure would return without a coupon."

  • "My wife and I had dinner Friday night and it was excellent. The wife had veal Oscar which was outstanding. I had the rib-eye and although the taste was great, much of it was a bit tough. Overall for the price it was a very good dinner."

  • "My friend's steak was perfect. My steak was supposed to be medium, but it was really more on the raw side and even had a strip of fat. I did want to take the time to send it back, so I ate it. Our potatoe choices were ok. The mocha chip souffle had very little flavor. Dinner was ok, but not extraordinary. I am sorry, but for the price you expect extraordinary. It was high level of ambience. The steak I can get at texas roadhouse for 1/4 of the price is just as good."

  • "This was a great experience, the food is prepared superbly. The wait staff is so very accommodating and friendly. I will return to try other dishes. The servers had a lot of knowledge in helping me find the right wine. We had the server before and she remembered us, that was a plus. This is a great restaurant to be associated with a Casino I felt like a winner."

  • "It took 30 minutes to get our drink orders in, even longer to order food. We had to eventually call a waitress over. I dont know if they were having staffing issues or not. Waitress kept disappearing into the kitchen, did not follow up if we needed anything additional like drinks. Appetizer plates left on table through out the meal. There were several servers walking around just filling water glasses and no one taking orders. I was brought an over done tough steak instead of the medium rib eye I ordered and baked potatoes served were cold. This is supposed to be a more expensive restaurant, but if you are going to charge higher prices, the service and the food have to match."

  • "I guess when I review restaurants, hotels, tours, cruises, etc, I look for fault. I cannot find absolutely nothing to say negative about this restaurant. I thought my salmon was very good, my husband said his steak was excellent. The service was excellent. After living in huge cities with fantastic restaurants, we cannot wait to leave Tucson. But this restaurant stands out as being an exception. Highly recommend."

  • "Slow in the kitchen. Our reservation was at 6:30 and our main entrees arrived around 7:45. I saw our plates sitting under the heating lamp for more than 10 minutes; those who ordered steak--at $35--had their steak overcooked. I'm sure it came from the heat lamps. Except for this long delay, the people were extraordinarily friendly and nice. My shrimp dish was excellent!"

  • "My wife and I went to this restaurant to celebrate my impending 75th birthday. We were not disappointed in either the quality of the food or the service. As we were a party of two we were seated at tables quite close to a serving area and as a result some of the ambience was lost in serving noise. Don't get me wrong as the staff were quiet and efficient but it did take away from the atmosphere. Overall it was a very good dining experience. I would appreciate knowing the names of Open Table recommended restaurants in the Tucson, AZ area for future dining experiences."

  • "We had steaks and expected good quality beef. Unfortunately, the beef was not of the quality that we are used to. We are from Kansas and have excellent corn fed beef from Kansas and Nebraska. Our expensive steaks had no flavor. The Steakhouse might consider ordering better quality beef from either Kansas or Nebraska. Otherwise, the Steakhouse was quiet and the waiters were very good. We just spent too much for low quality beef."

  • "We knew from the internet that Wednesday was prime rib night. There was nothing in the menu and our waitress made no mention of it until we inquired. We also knew there was a $4 wine special. When we said we would like a glass of wine, no mention was made of the special until we inquired about a house wine. Shouldn't the staff be promoting the specials? Our meal was excellent and we would recommend it."

  • "They are very creative and you'll typically be surprised at the additional little touches they provide. A complementary taste from the chef, the "rainbow of sauces" for your steak, the extraordinary bread presentation, marinated cherries for a Manhattan, are just a few of the added touches. We would have given them a 5 star for the food except it wasn't quite as warm as it should have been (steak, baked potato, roasted brussel sprouts, etc.) . They were quite busy, and that might have been the source of the problem, so we will definitely give this restaurant another chance."

Had the brussel sprouts and the potato au gratin which is a must. Ordered the melting cake for dessert and it was a wonderful ending to a very enjoyable food experience. Even though it is a far drive for us living on the northwest side we will go back"
