Diner Reviews
  • "We went there after getting an email and were excited for painkillers. After we had already ordered several, the waiter tells us that the #2's are on special but we had already been drinking the #3s. The waiter was woefully uninformed about everything and they were out of everything. Took him 20 minutes each order to come back to table and report that they didn't have it and it was a long list: Corona, Corona lite, oysters, coconut shrimp etc. etc. We brought the manager over and he was the most apathetic excuse I've ever encountered - no wonder the wait staff was bad. Just gave excuses, no apologies. Great view of the water, but don't go there unless you have no expectations. Really bad experience."

  • "We were greeted at the entrance of the restaurant, and were offered the couches as waiting area, which were comfortable. The waiter came to our table relatively quick. The food taste great."

  • "We were in Annapolis for a Lacrosse tournament and decided to try out this eatery in downtown Annapolis. Great view but the the food was a major disappointment! Two out of three of our meals were terrible and when we told the waitress she just apologized for us not liking it. We are not ones to ask for meals to be taking off the bill, but when it is obvious 3/4 of our meal was left.....it is then the responsibility of the waitress to let the manager know and them to accommodate in some way!"

  • "We usually visit Pusser's once a year and this past weekend with the warmer weather was just the right time, unfortunately still not warm enough to sit outside. Our waitress was very pleasant and efficient and our food arrived in step. We always love the coconut rum shrimp as our appy and for our entrée, we had the bacon wrapped shrimp skewers and the surf and turf special with a tropical salad and dessert. Our meals were great as usual and we had a great time after strolling around Main Street all afternoon. We'll be back in the summer and enjoy the outside marina view!"

  • "We can always count on Pussers for great food, good service and terrific ambience. We go there in the summer (for the outdoor eating) and in the winter for the beautiful water view of Annapolis and Naval Academy from their glass enclosed dining area. It's one of our all year round favorites. If dining in winter, valet parking is free!!!!"

  • "My spouse and I went for dinner around 6pm on a Wednesday evening so we were pretty much the only ones in the front room where it overlooked the bay. VERY PRETTY! I'm sure its even nicer in the summer when its open for outdoor dining. I had the barbeque salmon dinner entree and it was to-die-for! So much flavor packed into a healthy dish! And they gave me a half of a plate of veggies which is great to see! I also had the Oysters on a half-shell for an appetizer... they were a bit cheesy but still delicious! My spouse had the Grilled Mahi-mahi and she wasn't too impressed as they were lacking a bit of flavor. In fact, there were some people there trying to sell a new alcohol so we ended up with some pretty powerful free drinks too!"

  • "We really enjoyed the dining experience. The food is great, prices reasonable and the atmosphere is very nice. I really like the free valet parking as Annapolis can be a hard place to find parking and if you do it can be a hike. Everyone from the valet parking crew to the busboys were very pleasant. We will return with our friends and family in the future."

  • "What a find! We had a party of 8 including 4 children, ages 3-11. The wait staff couldn't have been better, attentive but not hovering. The January special of a 5 oz petite filet mignon, 5 oz lobster tail, baked potato, fresh vegetables, Caribbean salad, and desert for $19.95 was perfectly perpared, beautifully served and delicious. Other entrees also rate rave reviews."

  • "Arrived at 3 for a 3pm reservation. They said they would have to go look to see if they have any tables. They did find one they didn't know they had. Over 10 minutes to get a waiter. Oysters were great. Fish an chips were bad. Fish overcooked very hard dripping with grease. Chips soggy over cooked and greasy. Great water view. Very lacking in service and preparation. They need some adult supervision."

  • "We have gone to Pusser's for 13 years now and it never disappoints. Great location with the best view in town. Excellent food at unbelievable fair prices."

  • "We went for Christmas dinner as we had spent Christmas eve with the family. We arrived early and sat at the bar. The bar staff was so attentive that we ate our dinner at the bar. The coconut shrimp and butternut squash soup were fantastic. We had the prime rib and crab cakes entrees. Again, very good and large portions. The couple next to us had the traditional Christmas turkey dinner and they said it was excellent. I would highly recommend Pusser's to anyone looking for a place to have Christmas dinner. Also, the price for the was prix fix menu was only $29,95 per person for the three course meal and there was a wide variety of choices. We will return again soon!"

  • "This was our first time at Pusser’s. The view is outstanding, with the Annapolis harbor right in front of us. We went for Christmas dinner, so there was a limited, 3-course menu for $30. Despite the limited menu, there was still a good variety of meat, fish, and vegetarian options, including prime rib and 8 oz. filet mignon. You really can’t argue with these prices. The food itself was good but nothing special -- I had salmon and my wife had turkey with “all the trimmings.” The portions are large, with several sides. The turkey was a little chunky, and the sauce for the salmon was too sweet, but the fish itself was tasty and the sweet potatoes were creamy and good. Again: $30 for 3 courses. You really can’t argue with that."

  • "We know a restaurant can't put it's best foot forward on a major holiday, but our 2 hour dinner was worse that we had expected. 30 minutes to take drink order, another 40 minutes for dinner to be served. Wrong dessert brought at the end. Had they not built in a gratuity of 18% for our party of 3, we would not have tipped that high. Staff stressed and you could just tell they were on their last nerve. A lot of apologizing going on at all our surrounding tables. Staff did appear to understand the short comings (they comped our 2 glasses of wine) so I would hope for a better Christmas 2014 meal. Not that we will try to find out."

  • "We had a group of 6 for brunch and the food, service and view were all excellent. The eggs benedict with crab cakes were amazing - I couldn't get over how large the crab cakes were! Everyone else was very pleased with their meals as well. The noise was a bit of a problem for those of us who are getting up there in years - there just isn't anything to absorb sound so it is very noisy and it made conversation difficult."

  • "The food was excellent. While the service was good, it could have been a little snappier. The restaurant atmosphere and pretty waterfront location were enjoyed by our group over a couple of days."

  • "This place is great for a Sunday brunch (maybe if you're hungover) and don't really care what the food tastes like. The drinks are great, yet overpriced. Food- all I can say is mediocre at best. The atmosphere was fun, the service was good, but we were still disappointed. This IS a tourist trap, after all. Locals, unless you are meeting people here, DO NOT GO. At least to eat...It's sad, because the location is very nice."

  • "Great restaurant on the water looking out on the harbor for either lunch or dinner. Food and service is good. If you enjoy dining outside on the water you'll love this restaurant."
