Purple Palm at the Colony Palms HotelStill full from our great dinnerWas in town for the weekend and some friends who have a place in Palm Springs recommended. Just so happened it was also Restaurant Week so we went for the three course meal. The gaspacho was amazing followed by the hanger steak and potatoes au gratin which were service in a separate dish. Not only was the food delicious, the portions I received were quite large. Could not stop eating and had to walk off the meal on the strip as I was so full! Would highly recommend and plan on going back next time we are in town.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing! We went to Purple Palm because we had heard about their Executive Chef Jeff Armstrong. His resume looks like a Zagat roster...
Armstrong's amazing menu, along with the hotel's history and charm made this a meal we'll remember for months to come...
Hidden in the Colony Palms Hotel, this is a must go when wanting to live the whole Palm Springs Experience.
Highly recommend for anyone wanting a meal/atmosphere they won't soon forget....5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWarm and wonderful ....The PP continues to serve really good food while providing attentive service.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMLocated in a vintage PalmLocated in a vintage Palm Springs boutique hotel. Unassuming from the street, the hotel is built around a large well landscaped courtyard with pool. The restraurant is adjacent ot the pool and includes indoor and outdoor bars and dining areas. Service, ambiance, and food were awesome. Epic, personal top 10 dining experience. Best dining experience in CA desert.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMNo need to ever leave the hotel.Food and service fabulous as always . The open air dining on the edge of the colony palms pool is lovely. Have had all three meals at Purple Palm. All have been delicious.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways have a great time hereAlways have a great time here when in PS . Doesn't look like much from the street but a real gem once inside!3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMSteve R.This is one of my favorite Palm Springs hidden gems. Terrific ambiance for romantic night out, poolside cabana appetizers before dinner or just sitting in the bar enjoying the view of the mountains. Incredible ambiance.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMA nice PS dining alternative...A great, classic Palm Springs setting, dining around the pool at night ::: Service was on top, our entres were more tasty and surprisingly good for a hotel ::: A bit higher prices than expected, but not insulting and therefore recommended...3/5/2013 12:00:00 AM
