Kids sliders were unedible! The appetizers were just ok and the steaks were tasteless for the price. The hanger steak was a glorified overpriced london broil. I would never get this again!

Nice menu. Sushi was very fresh and fried calamari was tender and just the right amount of sauce. If you don't want to go for an expensive bottle if wine, wine by the glass is reasonable. Nothing negative to say. Will definitely be back.

I've been wanting to try out Pure for a while now and finally got the chance to do so when my bf had a steak craving! We enjoyed out experience at Pure. Service was good, nice decor and tasty food. We ordered the cheeseboard for app and steak and fried rice for dinner. Cheeseboard had about 6-8 different cheeses and olives. Portions were decent size. I would go to this spot for special occasions ESP bday celebrations as this place turns into a club/lounge after ten pm.

Live music way too loud. Sexing time there and veal chop was best I ever had. Seems to me like they don't know what they want to be a restaurant or a club. Although the musician was good, you do not necessarily want to listen to Jimmy Hendrix while you are enjoying dinner with friends.

Bought a Groupon for our 1st visit. Crab cakes app: great flavor, lots of crab, little breading. A bit greasy, hubby said they weren't- perhaps it's because I rarely eat fried foods. Had the halibut entrée (potato crusted on one side, served over bok choy). Portion size of fish was HUGE, greens minimal (would've preferred the opposite). However, entrée had great flavor. Hubby ordered veal chop and commented it was a little fatty. Service was attentive & helpful. Note-I ordered a vodka drink with two limes, but got only one. Am a stickler for attention to detail & in the service industry, one should receive what she orders. Overall, a good experience and will likely return, though prob only w/ a Groupon, as it would be pricey w/out one.

Filet and asparagus were good. Potatoes tasted like boxed mashed. Service was very good. I had the double dirty martini and it was weak. My second regular martini tasted like all olive juice. I tried the jalapeno margarita (because I like jalapeno tequila) but it tasted like whisky sour mix and again, weak. Sent it back. I had avocado salad and that was good with crab meat.Canadian oysters good. My husband's swordfish was very good. He liked his assorted ice cream and we also had gelato cake. Was fine. I really expected more from this place after reading reviews. For the prices they charge the food should've been 5 star quality. Was not outstanding.

Good looking place Management was Very accommodating with giving us the table we wanted Bus and wait staff a bit disorganized; brought out bread after appetizers My wife's diver scallops were filled with what seemed like sand or shells and of course my bite had a piece the size of a small pebble in it I let the waitress know to inform the kitchen so other diners would not have the same problem She offered to bring a new order of scallops but I was reluctant to try it again since all the scallops had sand Years ago, it would have been taken off the check or at least an offer of coffee, desert or a drink but nothing The room was impressive for New Jersey so we might give it another chance

Second time there, and will be recommending this to all out-of-town visitors. I'm a Holiday Inn Priority Club member (Platinum level), so I stay at a LOT of Holiday Inns around the country, but none of them have a restaurant as nice as PURE attached to them. At our table we had a sashimi plate, a veal chop, and three fillets, and everyone was very happy with their meal. Your Wednesday wine deal will have me back there very soon.

Overall a very nice dining experience. The wine list is very limited to mostly unknowns. Our waiter was very attentive and the restaurant was nice and quiet, but we did eat at a very early hour. Not sure how it would be later on when more crowded. The Chilean Seabass was delicious! I would definitely return.

Went with friends for dinner, and had a great time. The atmosphere was comfortable. The service was good. Nice waitress. The food was delicious! Not one complaint from any of us, from appetizers to desert. Portion weren't bad, prices were reasonable. Can't remember being at a Resturant like this in this area. Looking forward to going back. We didn't go to the bar afterwards so I can't say anything about it, but looking forward to it next time. Place was filling up when we left. I do recommend going even though you gotta get kinda of dressed up for the place. I don't like getting dressed up but the place is worth it.

As the title states this place just ok. I found after four vodka and club sodas that the drinks were rather weak as I did not even have a slight buzz. The food was either muddled in thick sauce or as in the case of my Pad Thai chicken, a blob of over cooked noodles and sauce. In a Pad Thai dish the ingredients should all be identifiable with fresh basil and some heat. Not the case here. No stand outs here as our guests had a filet Mignon which was over cooked but requested medium. In all, the location may be best for group gatherings and a few drinks as a DJ music becomes loud at 10pm. Don't go for the food.

I have dined at Pure twice and have thoroughly enjoyed both occasions. The food is young, fresh, clean american food with a mix of sushi and steakhouse fare. The ambiance is crisp, clean and hip, yet comfortable enough for a family. I went with family my first time and a friend the next. Great find in the middle of Parsippany.

The night's service did not start off too well. Did not receive a menu until we sat down for 15 minutes and it took 20 minutes to get our first drink, martins, to arrive at our table. But the service did improve after that hiccup. The food was good. I had the seared scallops which were done perfectly and very tasty. My gf had the sea bass which was good not great. We split the clams and mussel soffrito appetizer whuch was a bit too creamy and the mussls a bit to small. Overall the food was good but the price for the meal was high for just good food and not great. $126 without tip for two entrees, one appetizer, 4 martinis and one espresso is high if my taste buds are not going to be thrilled.

We decided to try Pure on a Friday night. The bar was crowded and noisy but sounded like everyone was having a good time. We had reservations and were seated immediately. We were approached by our server right away. Drinks were very good. Service was attentive and the food was also very good. Three of us had soups, one a spring roll appetizer. We were all pleased. We enjoyed the hanger steak, short ribs and the shrimp and pasta dish. We were a little hesitant to go because of some negative reviews but found them unfounded during our experience. I would recommend this restaurant.

Went this past Saturday night with friends. While the restaurant itself is quite nice, that is about it. The memu is eclectic and all over the place. Our waiter couldnt answer even the most basic question - "what are your top 3 choices for dinner?" He gave such a convoluted answer and then told us not to order any of the thai dishes. "We are not a thai restaurant" the waiter said. Very expensive for inept everything. The food was only mediocre.

This was the second time my husband and I ate at Pure. We were there with another couple. The food and service was just as good as the first time (Valentine's Day). I had the sea bass the first time and salmon the second. The fish is properly prepared and extremely tasty. MY husband had the rib eye the first time and the short ribs the second. Both are excellent. Our friends had the rib eye and based on my husband's recommendation and they were pleased with their choice. We highly recommend the calamari. It doesn't come with the traditional sauce and is perfectly fried.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I have been to Pure but this will be the last. Service wasn't what I expected there were only 2 'real' servers. They said they were working together but it seemed to me they didn't talk to each other. One would stop at the table and ask the exact same thing the other server wanted to know. It was annoying to keep saying I told the other guy, or he asked that already. Shawn tried but Billy seem to be whining about there only being 2 servers.

I called before we went asked if we could bring our own wine. The answer is yes, so we did but was told must be charged for $25 which they didn't tell me when I called. After we made order, the waitress came back and told us the wine we ordered was not available. But actually it was available. After we finished the food, the waitress came back and asked us to order desert, but we actually did ordered at the same time we ordered other dishes. After that, we waited for over 30 mins to get our desert, after I asked the manager two times.

We went to Pure for the first on Valentine's Day. A rose for the woman was a nice opening touch. Food was very good - I had scallops as my first course, followed by a shrimp salad which I thoroughly enjoyed. Fillet mignon was okay, asparagus and potatoes were even better. Soufflé for dessert topped off a lovely evening. Dinner was leisurely. Shawn and our our waiters were extremely attentive. Warning - if you order a drink "on the rocks" it will cost you $2 extra. $2 for ice, really ?????????

Located attached to a Holiday Inn in a retail section of Parsippany who knew that there would be a restaurant this good. The decor is great and the food is wonderful. The Spicy Tuna Tartar Stack as an appetizer is fantastic. There is a very nice wine selection. On my first visit I had a wonderful bone in Ribeye which was as good as any high end steakhouse and on my second visit I had the duck confit which was moist and tender. Service is excellent. and prices are fairly reasonable. It will be part of our regular dining rotation when we want to go a bit upscale.

This was the 5th time I have eaten at Pure. The first time when it opened it was great but we have had varying experiences since then. This weekend was by far the worst experience. We sat down at 6pm and didn't leave the restaurant until 840 (the restaurant was hardly busy at the time). We asked the waitress what the specials were and when we ordered wine, she asked us what # of the wine (something clearly a waitress should know and not expect a customer to point out). I ordered a medium steak and received a well done steak. It took them 25 minutes to get another steak out. Loved it when it first opened, but since there are many other new options in the area, we will now try those out.

I have been to this restaurant three times. The food is very good, but each time i go there there has been a problem. The first two times I went i made a reservation and had to wait 45 minutes for a table because they "ran out of menus". I have never heard such a thing. The third time i went was my recent visit on New Years Eve. Again i invited guests and when we drove up we were stopped by parking attendants who told me that it was $10 to park. Can you imagine? The restaurant is in a hotel and they were charging to park in the hotel parking lot whether they parked the car or not. They were clearly taking advantage of their patrons. So, it cost me $20 because i paid for my guests. Dont think i will go back.
