"I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is always fantastic. Delicious, healthy choices. Great service. #1 choice for lunch downtown. Also, calling ahead and picking up dinner when leaving work takes "carry-out" to a whole new level."

"I went here with some friends for dinner and had an amazing experience. The interior of Pura Vida is stunning. A comforting industrial feel is the way I would describe it. And the food is out of this world. One of the friends with me is a vegetarian, while her boyfriend (my other guest that night) isn't. They both said it was the only restaurant that had a menu that they both could enjoy. I would recommend Pura Vida to everyone I know. I will return as many times as I can."

"What a wonderful experience. This was our first time at Pura Vida. We love his use of fresh local ingredients. I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease & it's been hard to go out to eat. Pura Vida was listed as gluten-free friendly & that's an understatement. Our waiter Dave who was fantastic by the way, made sure that if there was something on the menu I liked they made it gluten free & all was delicious. The Kobe beef carpaccio with sea salt & arugula was great & the duck nachos were addictive. My 6 year old couldn't get enough of them. I had the spring rissotto with "salmon bacon" & it was perfect. Again our server couldn't have been more attentive. He was great with my kids. Would recommend everyone to go."

"A great thursday night, Pura Vida was emptier than I expected since every time I tried to make a reservation they were full up. But that being said I now know why they were difficult to book. The food choices were a little too 'modern' for my typical choice but for a unique dinner it definitely fits the bill and the choices all satisfied our craving for something new and different than your run of the mill 'cookie cutter' establishment. Being in the downtown Cleveland restaurant scene Pura Vida offers a affordable high end experience everyone should try at least two or three times. The "bacon" appetizer was creative and a very cool twist. The gelato was phenomenal and I would recommend everyone get it for dessert."
