I had the Peekytoe Crab toast with Lemon Aioli. Delicious! Plenty of crab meat, a nice dollop of aioli and great bread. I had to try the Wagyu hamburger and it was just amazing. Juicy, full of beef flavor and the thing jalapeño slices gave just a slight kick. I also tried a couple of the house cocktails -very well made. I am a classic gin martini guy, so modern sweet "martinis" are not for me. My mom used to live in the neighborhood years ago and they always mentioned how much they liked it. They said the service was phenomenal and multiple managers greeted them at their table to congratulate them. They enjoyed the food very much and overall had a fantastic time. When I made the Opentable reservation, I listed in the comments section that it was their 35th. That was all I had to do and they had personalized desserts at their table with a nice card congratulating them as well. I also called ahead with my credit card number so my parents would not have to see the bill. We brought a Gilt City coupon and the staff couldn't be more polite and courteous about serving my boyfriend and I. RC, our waitor, was knowledgeable and helped us navigate the menu. The GC options were AWESOME and the food and cocktails were all delicious. The Passion Chili was the best drink I've had in a while. The staff acknowledged that from the reservation and called us by our names throughout the night. Greg was our server and was very good. The food was really good. We shared a couple of items and then ordered entrees and sides. The whitefish was outstanding as were the crispy polenta bites. We shared the ice cream sundae for dessert and it was deli escorts. The room was lively on a Tuesday and there was a good vibe. We will definitely be back. Fabulous decor and ambiance and exceptional service. The entrees are not al a cart so although them may seem pricey, they include side dishes which are not included in many fine dining restaurants. The server mentioned the dishes are on the smaller size but I found them to be an average size. Being from the Pacific Northwest I was hesitant to order the salmon but I was not dissappointed. It was a perfect cut that was perfectly cooked. Chicago offers some great local craft beers that would go well with with menu items but unfortunately they are not available. Went for dinner on a Sunday with my family. The dinning room is beautifully decorated and the glowing orbs hanging from the ceiling gave it a nice feel. The server was very friendly and helpful. We ordered mostly according to his recommendations. I took halibut and my son had the pork chop. The fish was a bit on the bland side and the sauce for the pork chop was too strong.
