PulqueriaGreat NYC experience!!!This place has to be on your "to-go" list just because it's located on a hidden street in Chinatown and down some secluded staircase; very cool NYC experience. Then, when you add the decor of the bar and restaurant, you can tell the owners truly invested some time and effort into this place. I loved that the bar and restaurant were on opposite sides as diners were not disturbed. Oh yeah, I forgot about the food and drinks. AWESOME!!! Definitely the best part of the entire experience. I highly recommend you try the Esquites side, Carne Asada meal, and the Coconut Pulque drink...Don't forget to try the lounge "Apotheke" right upstairs; very sexy spot and great cocktails!!!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThe atmosphere in both theThe atmosphere in both the restaurant and bar is fantastic, the location unique, and the cocktails, though pricey, are delicious! We didn't expect the food to be the main draw, but it was actually really good. The guacamole and chips were extremely flavorful (and abundant!) and other dishes were really well spiced. Finally, the staff were so accommodating - - due to weather, we missed our reserved table and the the staff went out of their way to fit us in after only a short additional wait. We'll be back soon!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food. Shame the musicGreat food.
