But, the variety and presentation of the food is excellent. It's the kind of place that you say " I'll have one of these and one of those..." and they are all good. Then the bill comes and you see how all those small plates add up. We were served by Jake and he was awesome...attentive, honest, and fun. Our party of 4 ordered about 12 plates. Most were great, skip the restaurants namesake though...you can find better at other places. The patatas bravas, chorizo frittata and salmon crostini were especially delicious. The bottomless mimosas included in the prize frixe brunch is added bonus. The staff at Pulpo was SO accommodating, greeting us at the door with drinks. The manager on duty (whose name I didn't catch, but he was great) chose food for us and just kept the dishes coming, and kept our glasses full, for more than the two hours we were allotted. They were kind, attentive, but never felt like they were crowding us. This is a great restaurant that serves Spanish cuisine: tapas, small portions, almost appetizers size, and healthy. I love pulpo (octopus), so I definitely had that, plus sea scallops, delicious! The restaurant is new in the community, open only for dinner. Their store front is basic, but the ambiance makes up for it. While I was there, Spanish wine makers were dinning, offering their best wine collection, and as per their recommendations, I indulge a glass of Vino Zaco, (Tempranillo) from Rioja Spain.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat brunch optionAt $25 for an order as much as you want in two hours with all the mimosas, bloody marys, etc. you want is a great deal. The food was good - no bad dishes. Some dishes stood out as excellent. The service was fine. When you order a bunch of small plates, you don't need constant attending.
This place can get a bit noisy when crowded but nothing impossible.

We had a 6 person party and were served very promptly and by the manager himself. We basically got to try everything on the tapas brunch menu and it was delicious as as well as the drinks were flowing! Service fabulous. (Great Bloody Mary's by the way!:D)

The tapas showed the creativity of the kitchen and were not the usual ones you find in many tapas restaurants. There were a few new dishes, that had just been aded to the menu, i. e. the shrimp, and they were excellent. it is also a restaurant that can accomodate a large group, which is hard to find. We were asked to wait at the bar until everyone had arrived, but they let us start our bottomless drinking right from the bar. We were seated as soon as our entire party had arrived. Then, for several hours, they brought us dish-after-dish of delicious tapas. Our drinks and our plates were never empty. $25 for bottomless food and drink is an unbeatable price, especially for food and drinks this good. The service was also spectacular. They were just rolling out a new menu for spring and we were happy to be one of the first to try it. The food was delicious and the service was attentive but not overbearing. Stand out dishes were the brussel sprouts, eggplant terrine, flat iron steak, and whole prawns. The curry sauce the prawns were in was amazing. They could serve that with just a side of bread and I would have been happy. Nice selection of wine and beer and the specialty cocktails looked great. We were just drinking wine but I will be back for sure to try some of the drinks. Another thing to note was even though the place was packed, every table full and a booming bar, it was not too loud. Love the brussels sprouts with bacon, mac 'n cheese with serrano ham, mushroom bruschetta. Service is attentive and I love having my water glass refilled without asking.
