Tres bien!6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a reservation and theWe had a reservation and the party occupying our table lingered for quite a while after paying their bill (certainly not a knock against the restaurant - quite the contrary!) so we were forced to sit at a small table that was poorly placed temporarily. The staff were actively trying to find an alternative solution and very quickly placed us at a bigger table in the back with couches. We completely understood that they were in a difficult spot but the attentiveness and care showed by our waitress and the maitre d quickly made up for the short inconvenience

Mignardises for desert were even better. With a snaking bar top and wine cellar atmosphere it was a very nice place to enjoy casual conversations. Perfect for impressing a date or potential clients. All told I feel as if this place surpasses what I have come to expect from wine bars in Montreal -- a very high standard indeed.
The only criticism is the location. Not quite as interesting as some other places of this ilk. Situated near Place-des-Arts, and just north of Sherbrooke it is better positioned for 5 a 7 after work then it is for a hot night spot in either the charming Plateau Mont-Royal or the vibrant Old Port.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesomeThis place is great. We tried several of the small plates. The duck, the gnocchi and the parmesan croquettes were delicious. The churros were good but I agree that the chocolate sauce not the best.
