Pulino'sGood spot for pizza and saladWe enjoyed the pizza and salad for lunch at Pulino's. There are outdoor dining tables as an option. It is located on a busy corner so great people watching too. The service was not as good as it should have been considering it was not very crowded during our late lunch. Thinking I would be waiting at the bar for my table, Pulino's had my table reserved, they sat my party down right away. Very happy here! The waitress came over took our drink order after making a couple of suggestions. The drinks came back and they were spot on good! We ordered our dinners, the food was served in a well spaced timely manner. We were never rushed and were never left waiting. We ordered a Pizza, Salad, Ziti, Ravioli, and Meat Balls, all excellent! We got our check, it was a bit pricey but so is just about everything in this town. But this restaurant is on point so if you have to pay a bit more here for good service and good food it's worth it.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMMy personal FavoriteI first came here because there was no availabiliy to reserve in Balthazar and Minetta Tavern. I ended up liking this place better than the previous two. Every dish has its unique signature, its not the typical boring italian, the cheff really experiments with daring tastes in most of the plates. Cocktails are the best, "Orange Negroni" is my personal favorite. The place is really noisy, but soon you get into the mood and become part of the ambience which is really vibrant and festive. It never disappoints and the staff could not be nicer. Their salads are especially inspired. But I am a salad person rather than a carnivore. Yummy breakfast spinachi pizza with eggs was made heavenly with the addition of caramalized onions.

Service being very spotty etc. My experience could not have been better. We were 6 and our waiter was great!! A bit of a mix up in one order and they could not do enough for us to help make things right. Early reservation: 7:00 on a Saturday, already filled to overflowing but the hostess, calm and collected, seated us immediately. We may have waitied awhile for our drinks but the waiter was great. Food: a shared pizza, mussels, pasta, wine and martini: all wonderful and worth ordering again.Prices reasonable.
