Pulehu, an Italian GrillGreat Mother's DayDining ExperienceMy husband took me here for Mother's Day dinner. They had a prix fixe menu, which looked great, so we didn't even look at the regular menu! The food was wonderful, but the service from the staff was amazing! They were super friendly, and very accommodating since we had our 6 month old daughter with us. We were seated promptly near the outside lagoon as requested. The waitress was at first attentive but did not bother to ask for drink orders and only did so after I motioned her over. The food was great but delivered by another server whom we had do some other things. The Manager and hostess came to our table more than the waitress. I did feel a bit ignored.However, she brought us a complimentary dessert plate which was awesome. I had the Chianti Braised Short Ribs which were so tender and melted in my mouth. My husband enjoyed his Molokai Shrimp Risotto and was glad that the chefs were able to make the dish without the pancetta since he doesn't eat pork.
