A word from Puerto 27 Peruvian Kitchen & Pisco Bar
Puerto 27 brings the charm of traditional Latin American dishes and incorporates a modern contemporary twist. Puerto 27 is designed to serve family style and incorporate family traditions in hopes of maintaining the old school feel. Our dishes are made with premium quality fresh ingredients, infused with exotic flavors and modern techniques. We offer an array of small plates as Anticuchos (Peruvian Skewers). We showcase a full ceviche bar along with an exquisite variety of homemade desserts.

We highlight a 140-seat two level dining room with ocean views that include a color scheme of ocean blues and light orange, mirror accents, a white Caesar stone bar top with chocolate leather barstools. Our bar specializes in Pisco and also offers a robust selection of contemporary, classic and original cocktails including an international wine list with more than 25 vintages to choose from.

  • "For this much money go to La Mar for really delicious food and great service. We were so disappointed."

  • "Seafood in Linda Mar pasta cooked perfectly in an amazing sauce! Husband almost licked his plate after finishing his lomo saltado. Ordered extra cookies for our dessert. Server very helpful in my choosing a wine. However never came back with the ice bucket & we had to flag another server for one. Bowl for shellfish shells arrived about halfway through my meal. Big time gap between finishing entrees and offer of dessert menu. Service was very friendly, just not "there." $100+ tab for the 2 of us should have had better service."

  • "We have been to Puerto 27 several times, and the food and service are always very good. The view is not to be beat -- most tables have an ocean view. Service has been prompt and courteous. We will definitely return again."

  • "We went here for a birthday dinner. The pisco sours were yummy and refreshing! We ordered a ceviche to start, but they were out of it and recommended another. It was delicious. Also ordered another appetizers which was a creamy crab mixture wrapped in won ton. Also good. Main dishes I tasted were the paella, the lomo saltado, & the mussel dish. The paella was decent, the lomo saltado was tasty and tender, and the mussels were served in a really delicious sauce that made you want bread to dip in it at the end, so as not to waste it. All were good, mussels the tastiest. Ordered flan, pastel de tres leches and mango cheesecake for dessert. Consensus at the table was that cheesecake was best. Service was slow but the food & drink were great."

  • "The dinning experience was truly complete once the waiter recommended the bread pudding for dessert, all dishes were prepare with the outmost care and it was reflected on our taste buds."

  • "We enjoyed everything we had starting with ceviche puerto 27 and Jalea mixta, the Chanchito, Lomo saltado, Salmon, flan, mango cheesecake, pisco sour."

  • "Delicious food, yummy drinks, great view. Nice change from the ordinary. Only complaint is not much of a brunch-breakfast menu for kids (only have lunch/dinner items on the kids menu). The ceviche was fresh and flavorful."

  • "My girlfriend and I went here for the 4th of July. Despite the cloudy weather, we had a great view of the beach and all the fireworks that people were shooting off, which added to the overall good time. The hostess was very accommodating and was happy to find us a table next to the window, and we sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender for a few minutes before the table was ready. The drinks were strong and delicious, and were fairly reasonably priced. The food was good, not the best Peruvian food I've had, but I wouldn't think twice about eating here again. Our server was friendly and attentive without being overly intrusive. All around, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it!"

  • "I've been to Puerto 27 several times and each time has been consistently good. It isn't a high end place, but it is a comfortable, local restaurant with good food and service."

  • "Food was really good flavor, the problem is the ridiculous portion, it's really small for $15.00 ."

  • "Went here for a birthday dinner with 11 other women. Carlo our server was fantastic. We ordered several appetizers, large plates and bottles of wine. Paella was very good, whole fried fish was incredible. Fried chicken app, delicious, wonderful Caesar salad and the Hamachi ceviche was amazing, loved the fired calamari that included fried shrimp and fried scallops. Food came out quickly."

  • "The food is consistently good. Each time we have been there the restaurant has been very very busy. Carlo our waitperson was very good however, you could tell that he was quite rushed and was doing the best he could. Perhaps little less stress on your wait staff would allow them more time for customers? Make more plantain chips - we ordered two orders and were told the kitchen was out!! Carlos did come back with some though. It was overall a good experience and we will be back."

  • "What a great place to relax, enjoy a superb view of the water, and have a authentic, wonderful flavor brought to you from you would think was a kitchen out of this world. Compliments to the Chef."

  • "Came for a birthday celebration. One of the chefs for the day gave us free shrimp in plantain appetizer and was handing out pisco jello shots. Nice way to start. Had causa wirh tempura shrimp and crab. Yum. Halibut skewers were very tasty as was the trout. Ordered a veggie plate that was tasteless and could have been prepared by anyone. Boring. Otherwise all good as usual. Pricey, but food is overall very tasty. It is a noisy place since the ceiling are high and there are windows all around and there only seemed to be one waiter when we were there. Will always go back though."

  • "This place usually has a laid back floor with an energetic bar. Went there with some friends for early dinner around 615, and the service was very poor. After seating in the half empty dining room, our waiter took at least 10 minutes to come by for drinks, which took another 15 minutes to arrive. It took another 10 minutes to come back to ask our order. The food is still good but a bit on the greasy side this time. The waiter was not attentive throughout the meal. We wil not be going back."

  • "It was a great dining experience! I love their lomo saltado with plantains of course! It get pretty crowded so reservations is always good specially for weekend. I love the food but sometimes when the restaurant is packed or you have a large group, you have to follow up on your orders else they forget them. otherwise I do recommend the place for a great Peruvian meal!"

  • "We were there, this time, for a Father's Day celebration - with a Father/Grandfather/Great Grandfather who is almost 88 years old. He was a bit weary about trying a different cultural menu . . . but once he did so . . . enjoyed it immensely. His portion was more than he could eat, in one seating, so he was thrilled that he had leftovers to take home. The atmosphere, though a bit loud (The World Cup was happening on the Big Screen TV), added to the joyousness of the day. Thank you so for this great experience."

  • "It was our first time and we LOVE Peruvian cuisine! The food portions were great and the flavor was awesome! I will say that the kids menu could be increased with more choices. And if they serve limited options, they should take pride in what they are serving. The cheeseburgers were charred and the buns were hard. Not very appetizing to a child. We had a server who seemed it was her first time at waiting on tables. She was very soft spoken and in a place where its loud, she should increase her tone to be heard."

  • "There can never be enough good Peruvian restaurants in the Bay Areas, I say. This was our second visit and it was just as good as the first. The service, however, was a bit disorganized, even though the restaurant was not crowded for Saturday lunch. We had to ask for individual plates several times, even though we told the waiter that we would be sharing the ceviche and the entrees. It was also difficult to get anyone's attention when we needed them."

  • "My husband and I had eaten dinner at Puerto 27 before, and it was wonderful. So, when it came time to make a reservation for our 32nd anniversary dinner we immediately thought of Puerto 27. We were greeted with a glass of complimentary champagne and many "happy anniversary" accolades. Then we enjoyed sharing a delicious appetizer (crab and cream cheese wontons) and salad (steak and bleu cheese) before digging into our entres (I had Paella and he had Lamb). We then followed up with a tasty desert (Mango cheesecake and sorbet)."

  • "I loved the setting overlooking the ocean. The service was great and fast. Although the place was busy; the staff was friendly and professional. They appeared happy about doing their jobs. The food was greay also. I would recommend this place to couples; groups of friends or simply anyone who enjoys a good rrstaurant. "

  • "Puerto 27 is a a gem in Pacifica. The food is great. I love the trout with prawns (although a bit oily), very flavorful. The paella is very spicy and the restaurant was great to provide me with another selection. The new salmon dish is fabulous and cooked to perfection. The ceviche is fresh and the servings are decent portions. Great place for celebrating just about anything."

  • "Had a great meal with causa, ceviche, paella and halibut over a risotto cake. All very good. Pisco sours are good but sangria has little wine. Noise level is quite high due to the high ceiling and windows for a great view. Service was good. A bit in the pricey side. Would return however, for special occasions. "

  • "We were expecting a "Peruvian" menu. There were only a few items with Peruvian ingredients. One entree came with fries, asked if we could change to sweet potato fries but that wasn't an option. The waiter was busy taking with costomers at next table, it took more than 10 minutes to get his attention just to start us off with menus and water."

  • "Had a wonderful experience at Puerto 27 in Pacifica. Great food, great service and spectacular ocean view. The noise lever is pretty high but it is a fun and hopping place where everyone seems happy to be there and having a good time.I am a little reluctant to recommend it as it is already so packed all the time I don't want even more people to find out about it! Big plus as well, they have an incredible Peruvian Troubadore named Omero Oyarsi who moves from table to table singing for them on Saturday nights. What a phenomenal singer you wish everyone would just stop talking and listen to him. Thank you management of this extra wonderful gift!"

  • "Been here before and while I enjoyed my food, I found that the prices recently increased and Ceviche portions grew smaller. That was very disappointing. The drinks were also quite expensive so I just skip them... no need to pay $11 for a very small Pisco Sour "

  • "I have gone several times with different waitstaff and at different times and had an outstanding meal an service each time. I have seen the manager making the rounds each time to ensure service is up to par. I have read some negative reviews and have to disagree. While the service is not drivethrough prompt (and its not fast food fare) it is professional and attentive at a European pace. An appreciation dinner event in their upstairs lounge for us AYSO soccer referees was a festive affair. At peak times when the scene is hopping it can be difficult for me to hear my tablemates due to the conversation reflecting off the sealed concrete but you can ask the host for a quieter section if this is a concern."

  • "Four of us went to early (6pm) dinner on a Thursday and the restaurant was already nearly full and people kept coming in until we left 1-1/2 hours later. We all ordered different dishes, i.e., paella, halibut, salmon and pork chop and everything was delicious. The chef came around when we first arrived with a tray of jello shooters(!) - a first for me. Our server was terrific and ever attentive, clearing the table, filling water glasses, inquiring if everything was OK. For dessert we had the mango cheesecake with mango sherbert, which was great, the chocolate lava cake the the cookies were good too. Really a first class dining experience.rp"
