ProspectI just thought the designI just thought the design of the restaurant was simply beautiful and loved sitting in that
room. We all liked what we had but I would love more choices outside of veal and lamb only
because out of principle my husband and I choose to not eat.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMThe dessert - cocunut creamThe dessert - cocunut cream pie- was the best I've ever had!3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was excellent, but lightFood was excellent, but light level so low several diners were using flashlights to read the menu. And one should be able to SEE good food as well as taste it. We won't be back unless they raise the lighting level.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMClam chowder was absolutelyClam chowder was absolutely delicious! We started out in the lobby bar, which was vibrant and cozy. Since we were so comfortable we didn't want to leave and were able to order from the Prospect menu.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMSnapper and chicken entreesSnapper and chicken entrees were very good; kale salad was ok. Prices are quite high, especially wine. Only two other tables were sat on the night we were there yet our party of two was sat at an undesirable table; go to the bar instead; livelier and good food.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMYummy food, loud roomThe food was excellent and the service professional and helpful. We shared the special appetizer, a boulainaise polenta which was rich but delicious. The beet salad with goat cheese and pine nuts was also devious and beautifully presented. The main course special, pan seared trout was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The only drawback was the noise level which was annoyingly loud. We would return again for the food and overall experience. The room has been redone and is beautiful, but the noise level keeps it from being a "10"3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThe word seems not to haveThe word seems not to have gotten out yet abt this new restaurant. There is quite a bit of competition in Aspen, but Prospect can match it. The dining room is very attractive and the food was excellent. My friends all had the extraordinarily huge pork loin entree and they did not stop raving about it! The sommelier Jill was knowledgeable, helpful and patient with our questions, and she directed us to some lovely wines. We very much enjoyed our dinner.3/7/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Jerome is Back! The Jerome has been transformed to being the best hotel in Aspen. The decor and design is really outstanding. The restaurant has been also transformed into a bright, attractive space. I had a great meatloaf dish. A little pricey for lunch but worth the visit.1/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
