Wake of the Quake
January 18 - 24, 2010

Helping in the Wake of the Quake is soliciting help on behalf of the survivors of Haiti’s recent catastrophic event. Restauranteurs are banding together to make a significant difference at this crucial time.

From January 18 - 24, each participating restaurant will offer their patrons the opportunity to contribute to Haitian relief efforts by adding $1 to their check. At the end of the week, the total amount donated will be provided to Heartland Alliance, a Chicago non-profit organization which advances the human rights and responds to the human needs of endangered populations—particularly the poor, the isolated, and the displaced.

Anyone can help make a difference in the lives of refugees of the traumatic Haitian earthquake. It’s quick, it’s easy, and it will add up fast: Tell your server that you would like to donate by adding $1 to your bill.
