Promenade Cafe and WineGreat local gem for weekend brunchI really enjoyed dining at the Promenade Cafe and Wine - so much that I visited 2 days in a row! The food is really good - feels like organic or Manitoba grown and tasty too. I very ofter will choose a place based on the coffee and this one has some of the best.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had an outstanding 5 courseWe had an outstanding 5 course meal and wine pairing. The flavours were matched perfectly with the wines and the service was impeccable! Table at the window overlooking the bridge and the lights of downtown Winnipeg was delightful - and we didn't know there would be music too! Simply superb...6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a wonderful evening! We had a wonderful evening! One of the guests in our party was gluten intolerant - the serving staff was aware of the food prep and made good recommendations, as well the kitchen was prepared and able to accommodate her dietary restrictions. the musical duet was a bonus!!6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMwonderful mealI have been several times and each time is exceptional. The food is prepared with obvious expertise and care. What I noticed and everyone at my table noticed was even when we were finished and full and satisfied we were noticing the delicious scent of everyone elses food that came by us. yummmmmmmm. Thank you very much.

P.S. I apologize to my waiter yet again for accidentally punching him in the face. so sorry.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a fun Friday dinner.I really enjoyed my evening. Dinner with a friend, reservations, seated at the best view of the city! The food was wonderful - every bite was meant to enjoy. The wine went well. Loved the St. Boniface neighbourhood ambience! Our waitress was very attentive, welcoming and knowledgeable! I have been wanting to try this place for ages and it is well worth the effort. We had a wonderful experience here on a Friday night. Thank you!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experienceMy sister and I went for lunch on the weekend. Although we were running late (and called ahead to advise) the staff were still very friendly and it didn't feel as though we were putting them out. I had the procuito, pear & brie sandwich croisant with (side) house salad and the wine pariing - it was delicious! My sister had the salmon with carmellized red onion on a croisant with (side) poutine. Also quite good, although I preferred my choice (I am biased towards anything with pear and procuito however).
The view is excellent and noise level was not a bother. The table were cozy and we had a great view of the bridge/river. Can't wait to go back to try their dinner menu, loose tea and those amazing deserts in the display case!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
