The atmosphere and ambiance includes flowing ceiling to floor panels that move in the breeze, soft yet inviting background music, and prompt - friendly service. We had fresh fruit, french toast, and coffee. Included with our show tickets was a voucher for PrintWorks Bistro. We decided to make reservations for dinner before attending the Symphony. If you've never been to PrintWorks, it is truly a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Our server was incredibly attentive and helpful with suggestions. And the meal and dessert was beyond description. 1. Most other restaurants in Greensboro can't compete - sorry. If there really is a 5 star chef/dining in Greensboro, the Print Works Bistro is it.
2. The food: The dishes served was close to "Michelin" level. I'm not going to mention the dishes we had because it could detract from the other selections on the menu but I will say our selections were exquisitely prepared and delicious. I haven't met you Chef Hesling, but I pass on a big thumbs up to you.Great dishes and outstanding palette!
3. The service: Absolutely top notch. I tend to not mention our personal waiter again because I'm sure all the other waiters are top notch as well, but I give "Mark Henry" a big thumbs up. We could not find anything that we did not like. The staff was very well trained and knowledgeable. Fantastic wine list. We split the small order of PEI Mussels and they were melt in your mouth good. Half an order was still 10-12 mussels.
Beautiful decor! Located maybe a block from O. Henry Hotel. very easy to find. 10 minutes off of I-40. The appetizers, entrees and desserts all had bright spots, but areas of disappointment as well, but a good meal nonetheless.
