Love the touches that keep this a green hotel. Very nice garden outside. The restaurant is part of the Proximity Hotel. Very accommodating staff. You ask and they are happy to oblige. Food was fresh, local, and lots of interesting choices. We had the calamari and cheese puff appetizers, the salmon with quinoa salad and the heirloom tomato pie entrees, the dessert sampler and the chocolate cake. Everything was fresh and delicious. Very sweet waiter. We really enjoyed a lovely ladies lunch at the Print Works Bistro. I used Open Table to make reservations and the restaurant called the day before to remind/confirm the reservation. The grounds are stunning and the inside decor is very french garden to me (beautiful!). We were seated promptly. Our waiter was friendly and the food was excellent. Most of our group ate the black pepper salmon with mashed potatoes and french green beans (DELICIOUS!). Others tried the grilled chicken panini, the cheeseburger with roquefort cheese, and steak with fries. The prices were higher than we usually pay for lunch, but we expected that. 1. Most other restaurants in Greensboro can't compete - sorry. If there really is a 5 star chef/dining in Greensboro, the Print Works Bistro is it.
2. The food: The dishes served was close to "Michelin" level. I'm not going to mention the dishes we had because it could detract from the other selections on the menu but I will say our selections were exquisitely prepared and delicious. I haven't met you Chef Hesling, but I pass on a big thumbs up to you.Great dishes and outstanding palette!

We could not find anything that we did not like. The staff was very well trained and knowledgeable. Fantastic wine list. We split the small order of PEI Mussels and they were melt in your mouth good. Half an order was still 10-12 mussels.
