We needed a spot that was attractive, had good food, attentive/knowledgable staff, a respectable wine list, lighting that allowed you to see your dining companions and read the menu, and where we could comfortably carry on a conversation. A plus would be that other diners were not taking photos of their food. Print fit the bill to a "t".

Celebrated my husband's birthday here last night. Restaurant is pretty and our server was excellent. Our appetizers and entrees were very tasty and hot. My only gripe is the $4 extra charge for bread; this is very tacky for such a high end restaurant. I don't remember the last time we have ever paid for bread whether in Manhattan, Long Island, Miami, etc. The decibel level was pretty high and we had to scream over the other patrons to have a conversation. On the fence about returning.

This 11th Ave. restaurant belongs on Restaurant Row. The food was perfectly cooked. I had duck and my guest had pistachio crusted halibut. Over or under cooking them is a disaster but they came out tasting divine!

The 16th Floor bar at Print is terrific and a great way to start off dinner -- but leave yourself plenty of time since waitress service in the beautiful outdoor seating area is SLOW! View of the city in one direction and the Hudson in the other is spectacular. Restaurant itself is outstanding -- great, varied farm-to-table menu, excellent wine list, thoughtful and professional service (though maybe just a little too conscientious about asking, repeatedly, how everything is -- still, attention is better than indifference!)

Had a good meal at Print. We were staying in the hotel so the location was perfect for a post-theater dinner, a little on the late side, which turned out to the bad part. They were out of several of the things that we tried to order and we were hustled as the kitchen was shutting down, which I get, but in NYC, I expected the kitchen not to close 15 mins after our reservation time...which granted was 10:45pm. Service was outstanding and as we were one of the few remaining tables, folks were swarmed us with service, but in an obnoxious way. Food was very tasty once we found something we could order. Would certainly eat there again if staying in the hotel...

The manager was the high point of the evening. Orlando was very attentive to our table, but he had to make up for our other failings. The waitress got all our drink orders wrong multiple times. Strike 1. When I made the reservation, I was told that there were vegan entrees available for dinner, but there weren't any on the menu. Strike 2. I would have picked another restaurant if they had been honest with me. My vegan guest politely asked for a side order of veggies to go with her salad - veggies that were on the menu with other entrees already, nothing new or off menu - and she said that she would pay whatever price was charged. The waitress refused and said special orders weren't allowed. Strike 3. I'm not going back.

The Ground Floor restaurant is well designed and food was excellent. The seating layout is ample enough not to feel cramped...choose a booth if possible. The food was awesome!... preparation was as requested with a lovely plating which enhanced the experience. After dinner, we decided to visit the Roof Deck to experience the outdoors and enjoy the views. This roof deck is incredibly well designed...free flowing and ample with spectacular views of the city's skyline and the Hudson River. Our overall experience was very good and would highly recommend this environment. The prices are a bit steep, so be prepared.

Thought the food was just average...nothing special. The service people were all very nice but table service seemed a little chaotic. We ordered from various people to make sure things kept moving. The ambiance is very nice "hotel modern"...something you can find in many cities. Overall it was fine but I probably won't go back.

The service was OK, more appropriate for a Diner than a Restaurant. Food was average, not bad. Ambiance is what to be expected from a hotel restaurant. Including 20% service without consulting and expecting additional tip may be perceived as poor taste.

Service was attentive, quick to respond and very helpful. Overall, wonderful gem of a restaurant. Also, take a tour upstairs at the Press Lounge when you're done, you get to skip the line if you eat at the restaurant. Nice space with a great view.

Print really surprised us. The restaurant is beautifully appointed. Service was very attentive and the food was wonderful. The restaurant was very nice and we got seated promptly. I do not believe that a restaurant should charge for bread, which was good, but the dipping sauce was not amazing that they can get away with charging for bread. Ihave been to classier restaurants that do not charge for bread. The food was good, crab salad tasted very fresh. My pork chops was done very well except that there was quite a bit of fat on it. The dessert was not impressive though but felt the need to end on a sweet note since it was a friend's bday.

The food was absolutely delicious, the dishes were creative, and the chef was able to accommodate a person in our party with numerous dietary restrictions. However, I forgot that I read on Yelp that the bread is not complimentary. It happened so quickly, we didn't realize until after that we agreed to $8 in bread for our table. Slight disappointment. I think the part of the experience that was frustrating as a patron was the overbearing omnipresence of the manager. Checking in once with a larger dining group is understandable, but twice, three times, to tell us about your decor and postcards is smothering. I care that my dinner and my time is being interrupted. Let the food do the talking.

I have the summer vegetables and poached eggs, the eggs were perfectly poached. The bacon was divine. Not to be missed. Dinner was lovely as well. My Husband and I dined here on a Monday. The place was packed. Good thing we had read the reviews beforehand and knew that the bread basket was not complimentary. Instead it was an option on the appetizer portion of the menu. Although only $4, it was a big disappointment that it was not free. What restaurant doesn't offer a bread selection while you wait for your meal? Especially since it looked like they were not strapped for cash. In any event, we ordered our meals. I chose the Arctic Char which was delicious. Crispy skin, and not overcooked. My Husband had the pork chop which he thoroughly enjoyed. An overall great dining experience that started off on the wrong foot.

Made it late to our dinner reservation but the kindly hostess was able to accommodate us right away with a friendly smile. Our server was very attentive, but the manager made sure we had a memorable anniversary dinner, she was fantastic!! We shared few appetizers, one of them was the best grilled octopus we ever had! We ordered roasted duck and pistachio crusted halibut as entrees, both perfectly cooked. We'll definitively go back! The only missing detail to make it absolutely perfect: not a chocolate cake as a dessert option!! Even though the desserts we ordered weren't bad, it'd be beautiful to complete our experience with a bit more of creativity in the desserts. A plus: do not miss their rooftop bar with beautiful views of the city!

The food was amazing. I'll definitely be back. I would literally try everything on the menu, and loved both of the appetizers and main courses my boyfriend and I ordered. The ambiance could use some work, but overall had a great experience. I requested on open table that they bring out a cake or some sort of dessert for my boyfriend's birthday, and they did just that. It was an incredible dessert with "happy birthday" written out on the plate in chocolate.

Setting the tone, we were first asked if we wanted the bread/butter platter, which you pay $4 for. I was with my wife for our anniversary dinner as we were staying at the hotel. Our apps were great, she had the cold soup, I had the prosciutto and melon. For dinner my wife had the sea bass, which was great, but I was tremendously disappointed in the duck pasta dish which I chose--it was almost inedible. Bland, no sauce. I would go somewhere else,
