  • "As always, my latest dining experience at Print was wonderful. Print's focus on farm-to-table is apparent, with everything tasting fresh, wholesome and simply delicious. For dinner, my friend and I shared various dishes and we were so pleased with every single one. Some standouts: homemade spinach papparadelle with braised veal and sugar snap peas, snapper crudo with meyer lemon zest and horseradish, and crispy duck with kale and quinoa. The desserts were delightful as well: a fun, frothy sasparilla float, and a pot de creme of divine chocolate-ness. All well worth the trip."

  • "Stuffed quail was too salty but was otherwise well prepared. Beets salad was ok. Service was prompt and the maitre d' inquired several times if all was ok. Cocktail menu is a bit flat and priced high. Pleasant decor, but located a bit out of the way"

  • "Dinner was wonderful. Only one disappointment: our desserts took sooooo long to come out of the kitchen that we literally grabbed a bite with our coats on as we ran for our show. This should not have been the way to end. We informed the staff numerous times that we were pre theater including when the reservation was first booked. We want to come back. We want to tell our friends. Next time maybe we will have to do dessert first!"

  • "This was the 2nd time we ate at Print for a pre-theater dinner, and continue to be impressed. The food is tasty, inventive, and fresh, and the service is attentive without being hovering. We had a lovely meal, and were out in plenty of time to walk to our 8pm show, without feeling rushed. But be sure to leave time for a trip to the top of the Press Lounge rooftop bar. They let us take our wine glasses up with us, and we finished them off with an incredible view of midtown."

  • "The octopus was a little chewy. The pork chop a bit too thick for a good cook and so a little chewy in places, though it was very tasty. Great scallop entree and duck breast as well as yellowtail app. Chocolate pot de creme, awesome! Caramel nut tart was equally good. Good capp. Decent wbtg choices in reds. Attentive service and reasonably well lit."

  • "My sea bass was outstanding but what really blew me away was the kale salad. Everything is fresh and full of flavor. Kale can be a bit overpowering and they made it the tastiest salad I've had in months! I can't wait to see what is on their menu later in the season when more fresh produce is in. Thanks for a great meal!"

My difficult to please father loved his fish. My vegetarian sister in law adored her Kale salad and cauliflower. My mother loved the soup. I was delighted with the donuts! I always know that when I go to Print I will not be disappointed."

  • "I've been to Print many times and it never disappoints. Excellent wine list, rotating menu based on local produce available and sublime ambiance. Everything here is delicious and there are even vegetarian dishes, too. The rooftop lounge Press is also notable for its views and service. I'd highly recommend Print to anyone!"

  • "Reservation was after theater, so 10:30pm... when we arrived we were told that the kitchen was closing so we had to put in orders immediately. That was a bit frustrating and made the whole experience seem very rushed, but food and drinks/wine were very good. After we went up to the Press. We were allowed to take our drinks up there as well, as we had not finished them. That was a nice touch."

The low point of the meal was when the appetizers and entrees arrived at the same time, I was left wondering why they didn't allow for a delay between courses. Bottom Line: unless you are staying or live nearby - no need to check out Print."

  • "Went to Print for a pre theater dinner. Food was excellent. I had a mango crab salad that I can't stop thinking about. The gnocchi and kale salad were also wonderful. The duck main course was a little gamey but had a great flavor. And the doughnuts for dessert were perfect. It's a farm to table restaurant so there are no specials, the menu changes daily. I can't wait to go back."

Nice selection of wines by the glass, even if they are a bit too pricey. Entree and salad prices were not cheap, it quite reasonable. Location is weird....it's the neighborhood for automobile showrooms...no convenient public transport ....but cabs are readily available. It is definitely worth the trip. Service was perfect...attentive but not hovering. Noise level was great...I could hear my colleagues speaking across the table. I will be back with business associates and with friends."

  • "Went to print before the theater. Decor was nice. Atmosphere was quiet with a nice ambiance. Service was OUTSTANDING. The food was delicious, but there was slight room for improvement. The food did in fact taste very fresh, perhaps due to being organic and local. Portions could have been a little bigger, but not a deal-break (disclaimer, i'm a large athlete) I enjoyed the Braised short rib (Good) , Salvatore Brooklyn Ricotta Ravioli (great), and Gnocchi (underwhelming) I noted in the reservation that it was our wedding anniversary. We were provided with a pleasant surprise when we ordered dessert."

  • "I am a big fan of the Kimpton Hotel chains and in this barren part of town with limited food or hotel options this is definitely an oasis. Took a client here and we had a lovely lunch. Butternut Squash soup was excellent followed by the crabmeat appetizer and the vegetable plate was fresh and healthy. Love the eclectic décor of the hotel, all the different textures, woods and colors. Looking forward to the warmer weather and drinks on the rooftop."

Servers were helpful and attentive without being obtrusive. We had stopped for drinks in the hotels rooftop bar and lounge which was fabulous and comfortable and then proceeded to dinner in the first floor restaurant. Highly recommend."

  • "Happened upon a review on yelp and chose to try Print, actually by mistake. I did not notice it was so far west on 11th until after making the reservation. Decided to stick with it in spite of the unusually cold weather that night. So glad we did. The menu has something for everyone and the flavors combinations are bold. I had Scallops that were served with mushrooms and mashed potatoes which I thought was odd (treating the scallops more like meat than seafood) It all really worked and potentially overbearing flavors were tempered to blend. Really yummy. Kind of pricey, but worth it,"

  • "I enjoyed my experience and I would come back again I would give it 4/5 stars. The only negative was that there was a very noisy couple sitting next to us and an awkward single person to the other side of us literally on top of our group of 4. I would have liked to be given the option of sitting at a table or somewhere not jammed in between two groups. Especially since the restaurant was not that full. The food, ambiance and service were all very good though."
