Food service and decor was on usual par. But with such a skilled chef the kitchen screams LAZY when they won't accommodate a special request for Fried Oysters.
Maybe if the kitchen cared or understood the relationship with the customers their eagerness would improve, then again a good General Manager makes sure all guests leave with the best possible experience.

Hands down a fabulous restaurant. We were seated right away. Wine list was perfect. Our waiter answered all questions we had about the food and was on point with his recommendations! The food was perfect and accommodates vegetarians. My Wellington was cooked to perfection. The service is very attentive and friendly. The view of Huntington Harbor is also fantastic. The whole table shared porterhouse steaks that were cooked to perfection. I had a sushi appetizer that was quite good. All of the food was made well, and there was a lot to choose from. They have an extensive wine list. The view is wonderful: looks out on to the water. The restaurant is quite expensive (my only complaint), but comparable for restaurants of its type. The menu has new sections to keep a repeat guest interested. The food is always excellent & well presented. She wanted a good steak. We ordered appetizers first. Two people ordered caesar salads and we had to return them.
The lettuce was brown and wilted. The steak was great and so was the creamed spinach and the whipped potatoe.

It was in a weird sauce w/ spinach and leeks. The menu made it seem like that the vegetables were seperate. If you are a lover of the real deal surf and turf, as in lobster tail with butter, dont order that dinner espeically at the price it is at and the small amount of lobster you recieve. Other than that, everything was great...would I go again? Maybe for a drink but I LOVE LOVE LOVE surf and turf, and this place didnt meet my needs. But would reccommend the homemade tater tots! This time we chose to have dinner in the dining room. Our meal was excellent, both the filet mignon and the fish. Our waiter was very professional and knowledgeable. The time we chose was perfect and our seating by the window was excellent. Everything was just very calm and serene, almost Holy (Thursday). You could see the sun shining on the seemingly motionless water.
After dinner we proceeded to the bar, where we were offered seats by two patrons... excellent, and enjoyed a couple of after dinner drinks and conversations. All in all, a thoroughly great evening.

The food is very expensive, but superb. Best lamb I've ever had, bar none. Service was very good. At the end of the day, you're paying for the view.
