Prime - HuntingtonAfternoon Escape from Reality!This was our second time here for lunch and again a fabulous experience! After enjoying a crisp glass of wine a the bar I started with the Antipasto and she the Caesar Salad. For the entrees I had the Triple Spicy Roll and she had the Chilean Sea Bass. We shared a side of Steamed Asparagus. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. We again were fortunate enough to get a great table overlooking Huntington Bay. The view was breathtaking for both of us although I let her sit facing the water. After lunch we sipped a leisurely after dinner drink on the deck and savored our private time together at this very stylish L.I. restaurant, love it!6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat outdoor seatingMy wife and I had 630 pm reservation. Our outdoor table had a terrific view of the bay. But, the sun from 630 to 730 requires sunglasses for eye comfort. I highly recommend a 730 pm reservation for outdoor dining in the summer to fully enjoy sunset. Our expensive "porterhouse for two" was over cooked. Our server noticed immediately and we were compensated with free dessert. The gnocchi appetizer and Cesar salad were awesome, as well as our creamed spinach and fancy Mac n cheese side dishes. Who ever says that out door dining is not all that good or that romantic take a drive to prime. Our waiter Paul humor very respectful . From other reviews I thought our portions would be small, but they were huge! I ordered the Chicken and there was so much food I couldn't finish it. The wine the Waitress Rosanna selected for me was so yummy and she was just so pleasant and nice, when I go back, I would def ask to have her again as my waitress. The view is spectacular also outside and they had a band playing, which I usually dislike, but it wasn't obnoxious or too loud just right. Food service and decor was on usual par. But with such a skilled chef the kitchen screams LAZY when they won't accommodate a special request for Fried Oysters.
Maybe if the kitchen cared or understood the relationship with the customers their eagerness would improve, then again a good General Manager makes sure all guests leave with the best possible experience.

Hands down a fabulous restaurant. We were seated right away. Wine list was perfect. Our waiter answered all questions we had about the food and was on point with his recommendations! The whole table shared porterhouse steaks that were cooked to perfection. I had a sushi appetizer that was quite good. All of the food was made well, and there was a lot to choose from. They have an extensive wine list. The view is wonderful: looks out on to the water. The restaurant is quite expensive (my only complaint), but comparable for restaurants of its type. The lettuce was brown and wilted. The steak was great and so was the creamed spinach and the whipped potatoe.
