PrimeGood Food...Good ServiceWent for my partner's 37th Birthday. We were greeted by the hostess who immediately said Happy Birthday! Our server was very good and knowledgeable of the menu. I would recommend against ordering the lobster bisque...while it had GREAT flavor, it just seemed a little overpriced at $9 for an incredibly meager portion. We ordered the crab-stuffed lobster tail and the braised short ribs and both were fantastic! Our waiter surprised my partner with a birthday dessert that was very tasty but then lost its luster when I received the bill and found out that I actually had to pay for it and it wasn't on the house when I never asked for the dessert. This is something I didn't fuss about but just thought it to be kinda tacky. I would recommend a try!5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMHave to try the sea bassLove to bring groups here because the menu is broad. Everyone can find something they really enjoy. I find myself coming here every time I crave sea bass. No one makes it like Prime. This is a great location for special occasions. They bring out a dessert plate with "Congratulations" written in chocolate. We arrived right at the start of dinner service so while it was relatively empty at first, it filled up within an hour. Even so, our server (Todd) remained extremely attentive to our table. Even when the sun was shining to brightly on our direction, he ask for our window's curtains to be clipped. The food was delicious, the servings were generous (everyone at the table took something home), and the pricing was more than reasonable given the quality of the meal. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience. The food is great -- with very clever adaptations of sometimes ordinary things, such as grits. The sushi and sashimi are top of the line, and the steaks are as good as any in Atlanta. The food is normally very good (their salmon and sauteed spinach are always delicious); however, I decided to venture out and have something different and ordered the specialty sushi. Unfortunately, this particular day, the sushi wasn't as good as it is normally. I shared with a friend, and they agreed. I called to find out what happened but no one would return my calls so we needed to relocate on short notice. We were able to get in at Prime and the meal was excellent. They even brought us a free desert for the Birthday Girl. The steaks here are really delicious and so are the cheese grits. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing.
