  • "Absolutely terrific meal and delightful evening. The rennovated Union Station Hotel with its magnificent lobby and stunning Tiffany windows are worth a visit for everyone. But the dinner atvPrime 108 was a delight we will long treasure. The chef's tasting prix fixe with wine pairings was stupendous--from first bite/sip to the last. The poached apricot dessert was hands down the best dessert I can remember. And the pairings were perfect. Thank you. We will long remember our evening at Prime 108 as a highlight of our Nashville trip."

  • "Dinner was great, we had the fried shrimp app and the two specials for dinner. We had the fresh catch (snapper) and the vegetarian special (gnocchi). The snapper was great and the gnocchi was good but my wife thinks it had too much balsamic glaze. Service was great, but it wasn't busy at all. We were there early, and it was a very quick but well timed dinner."

  • "My wife and I stayed in the hotel and had dinner at Prime 108. It was awesome. I let the staff know ahead of time it was our 30 th Anniversary and they covered the table with 30 rose petals(nice touch). Service and ambience were great. Food was outstanding and our dessert was free. Highly recommend this restaurant for special events and the hotel is beautiful."

  • "This place is better in the winter with the fire going and it being dark outside. Took my wife for our anniversary, and it failed to live up to the memories of our last visit. Service was fine. The 'smoked' fillet has a very smokey flavor. The rockfish special seemed overly salty. Wasn't a bad experience,but not what we were anticipating."

  • "First time at the 108, we had an early dinner as we were going on to a show afterwards so, the restaurant was quite but there were a few other dinners there. The food was excellent from the starters through to desert our waitress was also great, not a cheap dinner but worth it with the beautiful old railway stations décor. There was also a large wedding taking place in the main lobby which did not effect our good experience at all, only improved it. "

  • "Last minute decision to dine at Prime 108 because it was close, it was raining, it was in a Historic Restored Rail Station and we had not been there before. We were extremely pleased with our chance encounter. Friendly, effective service and some unique excellent dishes were tried, making for a leisurely, rainy, memorable dining experience. "

  • "My wife and I were in Nashville for our anniversary and wanted a nice night out. While we enjoyed the restaurant and the meal, the pricing was really out of line with the quality. I have been to plenty of "expensive" restaurants and largely have felt that the pricing was warranted given the quality of the food, the service and the overall atmosphere. That really wasn't the case with this restaurant. The food was good and the restaurant was nice - just not worth the price. I won't be coming back on my next visit."

  • "For a special occasion, by daughter, her husband, my husband and I were able to dine at Prime 108. It is a beautiful restaurant attached to a more beautiful hotel but best of all, we all had a wonderful and delicious dinner. Large portions so we were very full by the time we left. Our waitress was great; attentive but not over-bearing. It was a great time!"

  • "First, the restaurant and the hotel are absolutely beautiful. You couldn't ask for a more romantic setting. The service was excellent! We had the cheese plate appetizer, which was great! The bread served before the meal was also wonderful. For entrees, my husband had the filet and I had the chicken. Both meats were delicious, but both of my sides which were English peas and spaetzle, were very bland. My husband's sides, marble potatoes and asparagus, were yummy! They gave us complimentary dessert for our anniversary, so kind of them! The check was 83 dollars, and we were pleasantly surprised it wasn't more. We would dine there again."

  • "For a fine dining restaurant, the service was mediocre at best. When I spend $150. for dinner for my wife and I, having to wave down or look for the server is not what I expect. Tho the food was good, it was not hot. I guess our waitress let it sit for a good while because it was just barely warm. I will not return to this restaurant even though it has great ambiance, and I do not recommend it."

Prime 108 kindly and immediately allowed us to arrive early and put a rush on our order. And they made it very comfortable for our one member in a wheelchair. We love the fresh, organic and sustainably produced ingredients. This is why we are regular, happy customers!"

  • "Food was outstanding and very creative, especially the salad which was well designed and delicious. Steak was just perfect. This was a brunch and our table for 5 was sizeable, but this beautiful and historic train station has very high ceilings, so the uncontrolled and boisterous children in attendance made it very difficult to hold a conversation with my fellow diners. When the kids left the silence was welcome and we were able to finish our wonderful meal in peace."

It's a treat just to see the original stained glass windows and fireplaces, along with the masterfully reworked hotel. The food was prepared in a timely manner and had a nice presentation. All the meats came out tender and cooked to the correct temperature and the spinach was outstanding."

  • "My wife and I enjoyed Prime 108 on a Saturday evening. We were seated promptly, and greeted by a friendly and knowledgable server. The food was fantastic. Specifically, the lamb chop was cooked perfectly and presented on a bed of spinach and cous-cous. So satisfying! The atmosphere was a bit quiet for an intimate time. We could clearly hear everything the neighboring table was saying, so we kept our conversation quiet and minimal. Some background music might be helpful. The wait staff was very helpful (even taking time to educate me about some of the art in the dining room, at my request). Overall, we had lovely evening."

  • "This restaurant was beautiful set inside the old Union Station. We loved the spreads they gave with the bread. We decided not go for an appetizer but split the spring salad and it was plenty. I had the lamb and it was one of the best I have ever had! My husband had the snapper and loved it. We split a chocolate mouse dessert that was also delicious."

  • "We went for lunch before the two women's final four semi final games on Sunday. They let us order off the dinner menu even though it was lunch time. Great steak, Caesar salad was good too. Had a nice red blend glass of wine and when we finished lunch sat in the bar. This is in the old Union train station. They have done a marvelous job of renovating the building."

  • "Had rez for 6 so we were able to sit at a generous sized round table; the best for group conversation with no one feeling left out. Noise level is the best I've found in the downtown Nashville area; you can actually hear one another talk; soft live guitar music is a plus and can make for a very special evening. Service was slow; had to wait about 30 minutes between courses....don't know what was going on in the kitchen as the restaurant was not at full capacity during the start of our 6:30 pm dinner rez. Food is good, presentation nice. My husband and I ordered the prix-fix 4-course dinner; they ran out of dessert but offered us any dessert on the menu - good compensation. Had to re-fill our own wine glasses after the 1st round."

  • "My husband and I are hoping that Prime 108 never takes their lamb chops off the menu, it will be hard to order anything else after having had these, they were amazing. We were there Valentines Day weekend and they had run out by the end of the weekend, so this was a trip back specifically for the lamb. Will be back. Service, ambiance, etc. were great."

  • "Lovely dining room with inferior lighting. Doesn't set the right mood & doesn't highlight the beautiful interior. We had a long wait between the salad course & our entrees. The staff began to reset the tables for breakfast, further diminishing the elegance of the room because they don't use tablecloths for breakfast. Not the elegant fine dining experience I expected. The food was good and the 4 course price fixe option an excellent value. Sound wise, it was nice while the guitarist in the lobby was playing, but when he finished, no music until someone remembered to turn on recorded music, again diminishing the ambiance when the background noise was the sound of the staff clanking plates and cutlery as they reset for breakfast."

  • "I was excited to go to Prime 108 especially since it is located inside Union Station. It was nice to have valet available And validated for restaurant patrons. The hotel is simply gorgeous. The server was nice, but for kinds/prices of food offered, should have described the menu like she actually cared. We got the cheese plate (yum) and crab cakes (very yum) for appetizers. I had the seabass special which was a bit salty but good. My boyfriend ordered the ribeye, and it was not cooked properly all the way through, and was fatty. It was a good portion, but we have had better steak at Logans. Very disappointing for the prices we were paying. Overall it was okay, a little disappointing. Probably will not return. More than it's worth."
