We had never been there before, but it came highly recommended. We requested a window table and they obliged, and there was a rainbow when we got there! The restaurant was busy with prom-goers, but the staff was still great and our water glasses were never empty. The food was delicious, the wine was great, and we left feeling like this was the perfect way to celebrate with or family. The bread pudding has always been a fine dessert, but Saturday evening it hit me as one of the finest desserts I can remember. Did something change in the ingredients or the cooking process? I don't know but it worked for me.
My sister's birthday dinner was excellent and the Primavista has become our go-to place for family celebrations. Thank you for a wonderful dinner. Looking forward to our next visit in the very near future.

We had two dinners, two alcoholic drinks, and a virgin drink...and the bill was $80. This was during Restaurant Week. The menu was to my liking so no need to spend more than $33.13. Ravioli appetizer, Caesar salad and a veal main course. Of course, we did add wine and dessert--I had gelato. Everything was very good, including the bread with roasted garlic butter. We love the view, and while some may request a window table, the banquets cannot be beat for a couple. The service was fantastic, friendly, efficient, but not in your face. She treated the two of us as though we were her only table, even though we weren't drinking wine and running up the tab (the kind of table most waiters dread)... and she had a terrific laugh when we included her in our jokes. My husband said the Veal dish he ordered (a leg roast of some kind) was the best meat he'd ever had. I had the Veal with some kind of ham and cheese on it, and it was very good. A friend had the Striped Bass, and she said it was fantastic. The margaritas there were delicious. We may have had too many, sorry other diners if we were too loud, but we were having fun! In addition to the great views of downtown Cincinnati and the Ohio River, the food is always outstanding. Our party of 4 all ordered different entrees, and all were impressive and cooked to perfection. The special of the day featuring mahi mahi poached with a lobster butter sauce was superb. We all enjoyed the fresh salads that were dressed with restraint. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. The only negative was that the restaurant was a bit noisy due to the energetic crowd around us.
