Wednesday night was no exception -- except the food was exceptional. The seared scallops were amazing - served atop a carrot pistachio risotto. We could have licked our plates clean, but there wasn't anything left to lick. We ordered an appetizer portion for my grand daughter and although she loved the meal, there was way too much for a 6 year old. Maybe you could provide smaller kid portions. The large table we reserved ended up being right next to the bar...I didn't check but maybe there are larger tables upstairs that might have been better with a small girl. The menus were a bit soiled but I'm sure that is because the restaurant is so popular! Starting with the food, which is wonderful, and then the location, which is also very convenient for the downtown area of Denver. We had to seek help from the manager. This time both were excellent. I believe our most recent visit was more indicative of their norm. Try the fig brulee - delicious. We will be back. I didn't think gnocchiWow. I didn't think gnocchi could really send me over the top but this is mention-worthy. The cheese gnocchi in a veal bolognese sauce was so good I cut each gnocchi in half so I could savor the meal slowly and so it wouldn't end too soon.
