The girls behind the bar were very attentive and did a great job explaining the food options, checking on if we needed anything, clearing our drinks/plates for the next round. Prezo is a nice midway point for both of us. The menu has quite a bit of variety and we've tried a number of things between the four of us, but in recent years it's been hard to pass up the lobster mac and cheese. Portion sizes for everything are generous - we always have leftovers. The place is always busy (we always make reservations) and it seems that there are a lot of regulars. We had a couple of bad experiences so we decided to wait a while before going back. This is the first time we have gone since they introduced their new menu. Both my wife and I had the sirloin. It was very tasty and cooked perfectly. Our waitress was excellent.

They have everything: great beer and wine selection, awesome cocktail menu, sushi, salads, pizza and Italian food. The service is always outstanding and the staff is upbeat and friendly. It was grilled swordfish over sautéed kale and topped with a cold tomato soup. It was delicious! I am a Weight Watchers member so it is great to have a restaurant that I know always has a healthy option with the nutritional facts, so I can figure how out points it is. The bartenders are well-educated on their extensive draft and bottled beer selections as well as their crafty cocktail menu. The Chicken Fontina and Salmon Panzanella are two of my favorite entrées. You won't be disappointed with either of these choices. The waitstaff is always friendly and attentive. It’s hard to go wrong here, the menu is extensive and the quality is always spot on. Reservations recommended on the weekends because they are almost always busy. The only issue I had was when using a gift card they would not give the remainder amount back in cash when asked. We spent 90% of the card on food and planned on using the remainder of the cash as part of the tip. By MA law they are suppose to give the option of receiving the remainder in cash or back on the gift card. Management would only place it back on the card even after mentioning it was MA law that we should be able to get the remainder of the gift card back in cash.
Our server was great and said if we did want to use the gift card has his tip he would have to use it towards his food at break. We did not thing that would be fair so we had to use a credit card for his tip4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ExperienceThe open table option worked out great for me. The last few times we tried to go to Prezo's on a Friday night it was over an hour wait. Open Table allowed us to get right to our table. My friend was running late and they held my table until she arrived.

Good noise - little loud for a family meal, but in our case we had loud kids with us so it worked to our advantage. Think it would be perfect for a small group to hang out at the bar and chat. Could definitely use a place like this as an after-work haunt. Good energy. Great beer selection.
For food, they made an effort to amp up the regular pub food beyond the typical "sweet potato fries instead of normal == innovation" sort of thing. In that I feel they succeeded, however entrees did feel like they were a bit more expensive than they needed to be by $5 or so.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
