I meet girlfriends here for brunch, take out of town guests, and for dinner, its a lovely romantic setting. Love it! My only negative criticism is that for the past 3 weekends, the potatoes have been undercooked at brunch. It's just too busy in there."

  • "Having eaten at Prasino many times before, I've come to expect a certain level of service. Although I thoroughly enjoyed my chilequiles (the nova "mimosa" was a strange take on a lox platter which we probably should've skipped), our waiter reeked of alcohol. Albeit, it was 9:30 on a Saturday morning but neither my sister nor I could ignore the smell every time he came to check on us. Maybe next time we'll avoid the brunch hour."

  • "Have visited the Pracinos in St Charles, mo and thought I would try the one in Chicago. Pracinos-Wicker park is much smaller but more intimate. The menu choices are very different in a good way and very flavorful. If had any complaints it would be with the valet who never came to us but we could see him through the front and our waiter seemed a little harried and slow. The restaurant did have some parking across the street though which saved us the fee for valet."

The food descriptions are lengthy and when you're in for a business lunch sometimes that is a nuisance. I got the BLT and it was awesome. Retuned at the request of a client for a meeting this past week and the BLT was better than I remember. I'll forgo the coke or Pepsi for the excellent food."

Also, while the wait staff was SUPER nice and helpful, the meal was way longer than it should have been, we sat waiting on the server a LOT (for drinks, between courses, for the check, etc). It seemed as though she just had too many tables to service. We were having brunch with some people from out of town so we didn't mind a leisurely brunch, but it really should not have been that slow."

  • "Prasino has been on my restaurant list for a long time so I was excited to finally try it out - not only did the experience meet my expectations, it far exceeded them. The menu is so diverse that they literally have something for everyone, from sushi to burgers to flatbreads...it was truly a tough decision to make but the sushi I ordered (surf & turf) was incredible, excellent flavors, well-prepared, overall incredible. Our server was extremely nice and helpful, as was the rest of the staff, including the hostess. I will definitely go back to Prasino and will recommend it to friends."

First of all - the Lobster & Avacado appetizer thing, holy crap I could eat 5 of those things and be satisfied. I got the fillet special - way too peppery. the meat was good quality and I ordered it rare, but there was an over powering pepper taste that took away from that cut of meat. fillet's are meant for flavor and quality. i feel like they could've served any piece of meat with that seasoning, it would've had ruined a nice cut of meat like that. It was still delicious, but too peppery. I'll be back and i'll avoid the specials. my GF ordered the short ribs, they were ridiculously tasty -"

  • "We went for lunch to the Prasino in Wicker Park. The $22 lunch special for restaurant week was delicious. I started with the lamb meatball, then had the Greek salad, and the bread pudding for dessert. The bread pudding was wonderful, the salad and meatball had generous portions and were very tasty. My husband had the berry pancakes which he loved. Service was great. Will go back for dinner. Highly recommend this restaurant."
