The organically based non-chemical food is consistently tasty. There are some interesting innovative combinations and spices. I'll go back over and over, even though it's loud and the service is a little slow.

A great place in downtown Lagrange for farm to table restaurant. Great meeting place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Kid friendly. Service is good. I definitely recommend making reservations. This place fills up fast. We were fortunate to be able to enjoy the outside seating. Noise level is energenic, so may be a bit loud for some. Some of my personal favorites: flatbreads, lobster stuffed avocado, fish tacos. Offerings include vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and yes they do have meats.

We went there for a group of 5. We had shared plates for appetizers which were perfect proportions. Our entrees were incredibly delicious and the desserts swept our palates for a nice finish. The service was impeccable as well. I would definitely go back here.

I'd looked at all the food pics before going, but I was still blown away at how fresh and vibrant the food was. There wasn't one thing I tried that I didn't love, but the lobster avocado is arguably one of the best things I've ever tried. We also ordered the mussels to share and the white wine sauce they came in was fantastic. Our server explained how they try to use fresh ingredients and that they also try to be eco-friendly. A lot of the dining fixtures were recycled or repurposed. I also love that they had a nice drink list, including microbrewed kombucha. I don't often find myself in Lagrange, but I'd make a special trip to come back!

We heard good things about Prasino. The food was just ok, and our server had an extremely heavy accent so we couldn't understand what he was saying more than half of the time. I will give Prasino another try but this time I will go for breakfast.

T he food was pretty good but it was not hot when it came to the table. The sushi rolls came out in less than 5 minutes. I will visit again but probably when it's more people there I believe the emptiness of the restaurant caused the food to just be already sitting there and not freshly made.

I have always loved Prasino's menu, but the service was often so bad I couldn't go back often. We went Saturday night and sat outside on a beautiful night and we were impressed again by the menu. I'm a vegetarian and found many, many options; the two I chose (a veggie flatbread to share and the Thai curry with tofu) were really, really good. The beer selection is small but eclectic and interesting. And lo and behold, we had a good waitress who knew the menu well, and was efficient and friendly! I hope our experience was not an exception this time because I'd love to make this a regular place. LaGrange is really hopping and we so enjoyed the whole outing, especially the great dinner start at Prasino.

The food and service is great at Prasino, and so is the atmosphere, especially in the evening. The food is honestly a little pricy, and the drinks are through the roof. But I will say that for a fit and health conscious person the portion sizes are absolutely perfect. Price aside, the food really is outstanding and downtown LaGrange makes for a great walk through town after dinner. This restaurant is a must if you are in the area but be prepared to spend $100+ for a dinner for two. $100+ of which I was happy to pay, will be back soon.

We arrived promptly for a 7:30 reservation. Our waiter was delightful and encouraged us to take our time and enjoy. Bottom line, at 8:30 the kitchen closed. At 8:50 we were asked to settle up. The bathroom doors were propped open. They had been cleaned for the night. The place was supposed to be open til 10:00. We had wine appetisizers and were looking forward to entree. We were one of three tables at the time we were informed that they were closing. Bad management.

I was entertaining two very special people and knew that they would enjoy Prasino. I had asked for a "quiet" spot for old friends to chat, and we were wonderfully accommodated. The service was attentive, easy going, and left us plenty of room for conversation. Of course the food was wonderful. Two of us got the evening special of halibut, mushroom risotto, and grilled asparagus and were very well pleased. Another preferred the soup and flatbread option and took home a generous portion. Such a nice place to dine in comfort and style at a reasonable price.

Went in on a typical Friday, they had tables available. We though how nice to get sat right away on a Friday. Well the server clearly figured she was making more off large table than a table of two. Our food made it out before drinks & silverware. We sat at the table with the food getting cold for 5 minutes while someone got us silverware

The food was excellent as always however the service was lacking at times. We were a party of 8 and one of the entrees didn't come out until well over 10 mins after everyone had their food and it was an omelet, hence it should not have taken that long. It also took an extremely long time to find our server for the check after we were finished.

We went to La Grange to see a family member who had just moved there. What a lovely town. Saw Prasino's cute patio and took a second look. WOW! Were we glad we did. Had an awesome brunch there. I had the breakfast tacos. Eggs, chicken, black beans and ranchero sauce…Yummy!! The fried potatoes on the side were as good as my best at home…impressive. But, the piece de resistance….he had the Parisian Eggs Benedict. Two perfectly poached fresh eggs on top of a split croissant filled with brie and ham. The traditional hollandaise made better by a subtle (garlic?) flavor. It was truly the best benedict I had ever tasted. Thrilled to see there is a Prasino in my area!! YAY!
