  • When the pepper in a seafood
    OpenTable Diner Since 2011
    Dined on 2/14/2011
When the pepper in a seafood pasta dish leaves your mouth burning there is something very wrong. Had a similiar dish at LaFamiglia up the road and there was considerably better in quantity and taste. The waitress did not look happy. My wife felt her beef tips dish was considerably better at another restauant. For the amount of money spent, there are several other retaurants availble who do a much better job. The value was definitely not there. The dining room was more like a reception hall. Remember this was Valentines Day.

My wife and I went for our early valentine's day dinner and had a great time. Our server recommended a great wine that paired well with our meals and the chef/owner even took time to visit our table. I was very impressed with the food and the service. Definitely a good date night choice.

  • We were meeting our prospective
    OpenTable Diner Since 2010
    Dined on 6/12/2010
We were meeting our prospective daughter's in-laws for the first time and chose this restaurant because there were good reviews; however, we were very disappointed. The waiter had a condescending attitude and was not helpful. Notable wine list-they did not have our chosen wine. When asked if the vinegrette could be put on the side or another dressing chosen, no. When asked if we could have a meat sauce instead of plain-no-upcharge for meatballs. When asked to switch a vegetable side-no it could not be done. My daughter and I chose the same house "specialty" and the meat was tough and not tasty. I personally left there hungry. We will not ever return to this restaurant or recommend it to our friends.

i went to Pranzo's with 5 of my teacher friends. We were chaperones for the first hour of Navarre High School's prom at the convention center. i have been there before with a small corporate group and remembered it as being very good. We were all impressed with the food and the atmosphere. To me the highest endorsement was that my friend who has italian ancestry and lived in New York city as a child loved the food. our waiter was great and food was wonderful. The cream of chicken soup was the best soup i have EVER had!!! yummy!!! the only low point was one of my friends La Bomba angel food cake. Too much alcohol drizzled on it. But she only took a bite and they took that off her bill. our server was great and it was a marvelous experience.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2006
    Dined on 3/13/2010
My date and I both had a veal dish. I had marsala. it came with spinach and a small side of spaghetti marinara. Everything was very good! I normally skip dessert, but because everything else was so good, we went for it! The chocolate torte is amazing! so decadent and rich, but wonderful. All in all we will definitely be back. There were many dishes on the menu that I had a really hard time deciding between. Looking forward to trying them all!

  • Simply the best venue in Fort
    OpenTable Diner Since 2009
    Dined on 3/12/2010
Simply the best venue in Fort Walton Beach. The bar is classic upscale style...a place you want to spend time at before eating. Peryy, the bartender, is top notch. The service staff is ghostly attentive. Always available yet never disruptive or intruding. Hint: ask for Keith. Knowledgable of the menu and wines. While the menu is mouthwatering in its descriptions, the food is even better. When we sit at the bar, we always say "Why don't we come here at least once a month". When we are leaving after dinner, we always say "What a great evening".

  • First time for us at this
    OpenTable Diner Since 2009VIP
    Dined on 2/26/2010
First time for us at this gem near Ft Walton Beach. We found it on OpenTable and after checking out the menu online we decided to pay them a visit. The appetizers were great and the traditional Italian dishes were a pleasant surprise. They actually make their own pasta in-house which for NW Florida is a treat. Good wine list with some affordable wines that actually are good! (Another unusual item in lower Alabama). Normally you have to drive farther east to Destin and beyond to get a decent Italian meal so we are very happy to have found this place. Good food at good prices and excellent service. Special thank you to Elizabeth - most friendly, pleasant server we've had in a long time...

Absolutely the best. We were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary and they made it special. They made sure the flowers I sent were on the table when we got there and my husband had our server put my diamond ring in my wine then everyone wanted to see it. We felt like part of a family. Thank you so much. Oh yeah, the food was good and the service was outstanding!
