  • "We were looking for something special for date night and this was great! The food was delicious. I would have liked to see more vegetarian options. I definitely appreciated that there were vegan options available. I love to see that in a menu, as I usually eat with a vegan leaning. Overall great night out!!"

  • "This is not the place for a romantic dinner. The first table we were given was next to 6 people with two small children. After requesting a quieter table, we were placed right between a group of 6 and of 8. Both tables celebrating something. Being wedged between these two noisy tables ruined the dinning experience. We will not risk this happening again. Our main entrees were good. The Giant prawns appetizer was very disappointing. 4 small prawn for $19.00 The service was top notch."

  • "My friend was visiting from out of town, so we took her to Prairie 360. All 3 of us were incredibly impressed with the atmosphere, the view, the service, and the food. This was my second visit there and it was as amazing as the first time I went. I would recommend this place to anyone! It was fantastic."

  • "Our Spanish guest and ourselves were impressed by the quality and taste of the food! Would like to see more bison on the menu, please. Our server was a cheerful fellow who knew the menu very well (can't remember his name...)"

  • "Everything went perfectly at Prairie 360, the service was definitely outstanding, and we caught a gorgeous day to go weather wise, so the view was breathtaking. An absolutely stunning and romantic experience."

  • "My children were in town for the weekend and wanted a nice brunch. Your prices were reasonable. I am not a big brunch fan myself and this experience did not alter that for me. The hot food was not hot. I thought the eggs were awful. I would have liked there to be a choice for different eggs. The waffles were tasty although cold. butter did not melt on them. The bacon was crispy and tasty. Coffee was good and served hot-I asked for decaf and got freshly brewed coffee. Fruit was plentiful and renewed often. I would recommend it only for the view and not the food. I actually felt somewhat ill when i left. So your brunch will not be a recommendation for me. Service was good. I will take my kids elsewhere next time."

  • "It was great service & we had an opportunity to try some different meats such as the venison, elk etc. the evening was for a birthday celebration & we appreciated not being rushed during our dining experience. Thanks!"

  • "We were a little nervous about going to this restaurant because of all the bad reviews on trip advisor, but everything was great, the service, and especially the food !!!"

  • "From other reviews I read I did not expect much but . . . . the food was great (tasty and large portions), the service was very good (helpful with menu recommendations and friendly) the view incredible. It was very enjoyable."

  • "From the moment of my call for reservation to the final morsel of food, this dinning experience was delightful. It appeared nothing was beyond the willingness of Management and maitre d'. The ambience was tastefully presented, with a subtle taste of quiet music. The view was extraordinary, more particularly as it moved into the evening and the twinkle of city lights. The dinner was flavorful, reasonably priced and more than adequate portions. I would certainly recommend Prairie 360 to the quiet romantic or the celebrating group of guests. I know it will be a place that will frequent again. Thank you for making our 22nd Anniversary so special! To Be Remembered....."

  • "It is a great view and the service was good. The good was also good. However you expected great. High prices and a lack of any inclusions (starter salad, soup) left us feeling like it was not worth it. Good to go, once."

  • "Celebrated my son's 7th birthday with grandparents! Great view of Winnipeg and fun conversations! Kids plates had very generous portion sizes and lunch menu was nice to choose from!"

  • "We brought the kids for their first time and they loved the view. The menu had a few things for them to chose from. We had great service this time. The only thing I would change is the dessert menu. It really only has adult options. Nothing that appeals to children or teens."

  • "We were pleasantly surprised with our Eat Winnipeg experience. Finally, good - no, REALLY good! -service (twice before, we had to wait an hour before anything but water and wine arrived at the table). While somewhat dried out, most of us (three) enjoyed the elk osso bucco. And we all (four) enjoyed the appetizers and desserts. Now, if only the wine prices would come down to something a little more realistic..."

  • "The food selection was minimal in comparison to the other breakfast brunches (for the same dollar amount) in Winnipeg. The protein choices were bacon, sausage, prime rib and ham. The scrambled eggs reminded me of complementary hotel style breakfast eggs I could get free from a Comfort Inn or Super 8. The desert selection was horrible, I could get better variety going to a Costco and picking up a desert tray. Service was okay, but the server was too busy with other tables. Maybe they need more staff? Better selections for breakfast brunch are The Gates (on Roblin), Fort Garry Hotel, Stella's and Falafel Place I was so looking forward to the grand re-opening. Well at least I was able to enjoy the view of Winnipeg."

  • "My group and I went for the savings on a full course meal but came up short on food quantity. Knew it was too good to be true, the main course was hardly the size of my girlfriends fist. The atmosphere and view is amazing and i'm hoping once you took out the big boy bills the food quality/quantity will increase. May go back for a special date night but not for this special again."

  • "Came to prairie 360 in feb and everything was great. On this visit I ordered the same things- garlic prawns, chicken 3 ways and bison perogies. Upset the with size and quality of the appetizers! Got a lot less this time and all of which tasted terrible yet the price sure didn't go down! Won't be coming back again that's forsure. Definitly a lot of better restaurants with higher quality food for a better price!"

  • "Our meals arrived lukewarm. I had the elk which was mostly bone and the little meat which was there was tough ( I should have ordered a steak which I heard have been good but I wanted to try something different). The blueberry crumble dessert ( straight out of the freezer?) would have been very good if it was warm. On the upside, the view is nice and waiter provided good service."

  • "Food and service were great! Unfortunately, the mechanism that rotates the restaurant wasn't working the day we went. Still, it was very scenic. Contemporary design was simple yet elegant. The only thing we found unbearable was the noise level. It was almost lounge like. We didn't find it very easy to carry on a conversation at our table."

  • "Given the price point of this restaurant one would expect impeccable service however this is not the case. For starters the revolving restaurant was not revolving and no one had any idea why not. Our waiter considered himself overworked which with the restaurant only a third full seemed strange. High end restaurants usual have table cloths, place mats, table decorations, etc. this one had none. Pre-dinner bread should not have to be requested half way through your entre. Food was luke warm at best and served on unheated plates. Either the staff is poorly trained or just doesn't care. The food itself was just ok and with high prices, poor service and mediocre food I predict this restaurant is destined to fail when it has a perfect location."

  • "My husband and I took my in laws here as a special occasion because they live out of town. Initially things were going very well; however, shortly after we arrived the restaurant stopped revolving. The service staff seemed quite unapologetic and did not give us updates on whether it would start again. I don't mind paying the inflated prices of the decent food (salads were good, cannelloni was not good, both desserts were rather terrible, husband's pork was great) to see the view. Pretty disappointing to have the in laws there, we were having a great conversation about the city and then boom - we just stopped right in front of the not so nice part of downtown."

  • "I invited three friends to celebrate our good friends 50th B'Day, three meals were awesome- the Guest of Honor's lunch of Manitoba Oysters....not recommended. Dry, boring, not to tasty. Otherwise, a lovely lunch. Great experience! Love the service and view!"

  • "The menu was pricey, which is okay, but the food was just good, not necessarily great. This especially stood out because I have recently been to some moderately priced places where the food was more appetizing in comparison. The view/experience was great, even better then I was expecting. I would go back again, and try something else on the menu, hoping to maybe be wowed next time, as the menu did seem to have good variety."

  • "Had guests coming in from Oklahoma so was not sure where to go but wanted to try something unique to Manitoba so we went to Prairie 360. The service was great knowledgable about menu and wine and very friendly. Three of us had perogies and soup of the day which was cream red pepper which all I can say was th ebest soup I have ever tasted. The perogies were filled with bison meat and although I have had perogies before my guests have never heard of them before and both guests said they were fantastic which I thought as well. My guest who was from France who had the venison again said the meal was extremely good. We had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely come back to try the other entrees on the menu. Prices are reasonable"

  • "Our experience at Prairie 360 was quite good. It was relatively early on a Monday night, so the place wasn't very busy. The view is amazing. We were seated at the spot with the best view (likely not by accident) and as the restaurant turned, the view changed. Over downtown wasn't as interesting, but still pretty cool overall. We finished our meal at the spot we started. The food was good, but I wouldn't say it was spectacular. The wine list is very good. The only complaint we had was that it was very cold in the restaurant. We asked if the temperature could be turned up and they obliged twice. It was better after that. Every once in a while it would get cold and my wife would need her jacket again. They need to fix the AC."

  • "The sandwich was amazing. The pasta (bacon fetticini) was very bland. The floating island dessert was to die for!!! So good!! The server was very good but she had way too many tables to wait so was couldn't be timely which was too bad. If it were my restaurant I'd install a different carpet - not at all attractive - looked like it was left over from the last owners. The view of course was stunning! I will come back."

  • "We went for our Anniversary. The waiter was super friendly but only came back to the table to bring the food. Never to see how our meal was. My soup was good but my husbands salad very bland. He had wanted some seasoning to add but the waiter was nowhere to be found. We were promised buns twice and never received them. The Walleye was delicious but dessert nothing to get excited about. The chocolate ginache tasted simply like a hard chunk of chocolate. The view was beautiful."

  • "The food that was on the buffet tasted good but there was not much choice and it was not hot. Also, the dessert selection became quite limited (we had a 1:30 reservation) as did the fruit selection. The waiter we had was very friendly. Will we come back? I doubt it even though we like the venue."

  • "Food and service were above average. The restaurant stopped turning shortly after we arrived. Disappointing as we were with out if town guests who asked for the view!!!"

  • "On one hand, was very nice that the menu offered vegan selections. However the inflexibility of the chef to accomodate simple requests (two specifically: one was if he could plate a child's menu offering of vegan gnocchi for an adult portion, and the second was to offer salad items from the pre-fixe menu a la carte) was baffling and off-putting. I live in London, travel extensively in Europe and elsewhere for work and eat out alot, and these simple requests are not something that better restaurants normally deny. Also initial service was very slow, in terms of getting to the table and bringing water, etc. Also, I found service to be a bit on the chatty side, sort of like eating at a family-value restaurant."

  • "The view of Winnipeg is truly amazing from Prairie 360. That definitely helps take your focus on the food. It's was okay, but nothing stellar. A person at our table had the Pork Wellington which looked like the best dish from what the four of us chose. It must have been as I wasn't able to get a bite. A great place to entertain out of town guests. Overall fairly costly for what you get. Surprising that food has always been the challenge at that location."

  • "I love Prairie 360 and have been 4 times now. The menu is very unique, a lot of different types of game. The meals were a bit disappointing. It is time for a menu change as there is not enough variety to keep people coming back after they have tried it a couple times."

  • "An opportunity to enjoy both unusual (fried sardines) and regular fare (pork chops and pickerel). The quality and presentation were excellent. The service was outstanding."

  • "Portions are small and price is high for what you get. Can't beat the scenic view though. Had a gift card to use on our visit. They processed our bill at the end without taking the gift card off the bill. We were half way home when we had to return (after they phoned) so they could use my husband's credit card to adjust the bill. As a good will, they should have slipped in a dessert or something for our trouble, but they didn't bother. The elevators weren't working with only the service elevator available, so this trip back took about one hour from start to finish. The Manager did apologise but it was not heartfelt because she seemed bothered more with having to take the time to adjust the bill. Will not being returning or recommending."

  • "Given the nature of the restaurant (rotating view of the City), the views and scenery were fantastic. Service was also quite reasonable. However, I must say I was disappointed with meal. It's been a very long time since I left a restaurant and still felt hungry, but that was exactly the case. Portion sizes were undersized --- $49 for a 12oz New York striploin...and all i get for vegetables is a one leek, one carrot the length of my finger and about 4 baby potatoes?! And not a slice of bread or dinner roll to be found?!?! In my opinion, portions are undersized, and definitely overpriced. I do not foresee myself returning."
