  • "Me and my 18 year old daughter had dinner here. It was very good. I had the bone in porch chop with a yummy cherry compote. My daughter had the pasta with meat sauce. The lava cake was delicious. Our sever was very nice. And the menus even light up when you open them. We thought that was cool!"

  • "Celebrated our Anniversary at Prado. First visit and we were not disappointed over-all. Arrived for our 6:30 reservation and seated indoors but noise level in the open bar where a group of Omni Executives were, was so loud we couldn't hear each other. Asked to be seated outdoors where the noise level was better, however it was over 100 degrees with pesky flies. Our server Nathan offered to move us inside once the Omni folks left. We enjoyed a glass of wine and then returned inside. I had the chicken with braised brussel sprouts and potatoes and hubbie had the scallops and risotto ..excellent. Treated to a very special Anniversary dessert by the chef. Service was very attentive and we would request Nathan in the future."

  • "My wife and I went here to celebrate Mother's Day, and we had a great time. The lamb chops appetizer from the wood fired grill were amazing! Felt like I was in Greece again with the use of rosemary, grilled lemon, olive oil, and tzatziki. Entree's were very good as well, the house made gnocchi in particular. We had the scallops as well, which were tasty, but nothing extra spectacular. We were hoping for a little more out of the risotto it was paired with. Will definitely go back, and will get more meat from that open wood grill."

  • "This is a restaurant in a resort, so the only parking option is valet. There was outstanding live music when I ate here (really well done classic oldies), and a plethora of staff who seemed both intrusive and invisible for long periods of time. But the food is simply wonderful. I had some of the best calamari as an appetizer I've ever tried -- a rather novel tempura style -- along with a sensational fried baby artichoke salad and truly wonderful caramelized cauliflower. I also had a $22 glass of wine -- very good, but it gives you the picture on the fact that this is truly a $$$ restaurant."

  • "Great atmosphere, nice table, but the food simply was not very good. The pork chop was tough. The Sea Bass had very little flavor. The bar drinks were not good (Moscow mule and mojito).. BOTH tasted like they were made from a bad mix, very sour and sugary. Table service was good, but the young hostesses, left us waiting for a long time. Anne, the manager was quite friendly and nice, but simply the food was not good and the drinks were bad. The wine we had (Ridge), was however quite good."

  • "We eat here whenever we're in town, it's one of our favorite places. The setting is beautiful, the service and staff beyond compare. Very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The calamari was tender and delicious with a tasty sauce. Vegetable risotto creamy , the vegetables not overcooked. Crab cakes contained a huge amount of crab, and lightly fried, the crab was the main focus. Kale salad chopped with an avocado dressing that was a nice contrast. We both had different pasta dishes, it would be hard to choose a favorite. The bread pudding was excellent, nicely balanced not too dry or soggy with a perfect amount of caramel sauce. All in all a wonderful relaxing evening."

  • "Because Prado is the only restaurant on the resort premise (yes, there's a gelato cafe with an assortment of baked goods), it needs to be good. It has a limited menu but the food is done really well. The service is a gem here. At first it seemed over the top friendly but in the end (and after a five night stay at the resort) it felt just right to have good conversations with your server. Wine list is nice but if you're going to have wine, just get the bottle and take what's left to your room. It's going to be more economical as we all know already."

  • "When a resort decides to put all their eggs into one restaurant basket on their premises (Prado is at the Montelucia Spa and Resort) it'd better be a good one. I enjoyed everything I ate here though you must understand that the menu is small...but strong. So if you're at the resort, make sure you have transportation off site to vary it up a bit. I had the lamb lollipops twice. The minted creme fraiche was a fantastic accent to well-prepared lamb. I also had the pappardelle one night which was spicy, meaty and a generous portion. I also had the occasion to try their fattoush which was a surprise with the use of za'atar as a seasoning."

  • "We've live in the area but have never gone here. We couldn't get in to our usual place at the last minute so we decided to try Prado. Boy are we glad we did. The view, the service, and the food was outstanding. They actually treat you like you're the most important person in the place, especially if you know food and wine. We were visited by the Chef, and the manager came over to talk to us about some wine that weren't on the menu. Our waiter explained all the food questions we had, and then suggested that the portions on the appetizers were larger so we might want to consider splitting them, which we did. The food was outstanding and the service was top notch. We're going back next weekend with guests."
