  We had such an incredible time here. Jaime was an amazing server with great knowledge and perfect english. Really blew us out of the water. The food was the perfect modern Puerto Rican fusion. Enjoyed the fully composed dishes so perfectly rounded and complementing. The wine list is on an ipad and very interactive. very helpful. While waiting for our table we found an great little cigar bar across the street. ask for Dani, she was great. AND a Puerto Rican Kareoke bar. perfect evening that the crew at Santaella (especially Jaime) completed. Cant wait to get back to P.R. Also Puerto Rican Restaurant Week was a treat. However they should really let the resorts and hotels know so they can share with guests. Thanks Jaime- come see us in Boston!...More

  My experience was ok. Excellent service and ambience. The food was average and too expensive. The rations were small but I expected that. The flavor was a little bland for my taste. Bread was superb! I had Lobster salad, Duck as main dish and as dessert a Pannacotta. From the three I liked the dessert. The salad and main dish were cooked perfectly but the flavor wasn't there....More

  Hands down the best dining experience of my life. We got the tasting menu - she ordered the classic and I got the puertorican one. Both were out of this world! Tuna tartare with green caviar and jalepenos and miso sauce was to die for. Corned beef over plantain with fricasse sauce was tantalizing- I wanted to lick the plate but refrained. Service was on point- very organized and methodical. Food came out with perfect timing and we each had 5 different dishes - each 1 seemed to be served at exactly the right time. 10 different dishes total between the 2 of us- each 1 packed with flavor and cooked masterfully- when we thought it couldn't get any better, it did. Over and over again. 5 stars is not high enough for this place....More
