"It's quite lovely that an Italian restaurant chef/owner sees fit to provide a Passover meal to those who wish to partake! Walter Potenza has been doing this for at least several years - and this past weekend was our first opportunity to dine there. Our Connecticut cousins had Walter's Passover meal on their "bucket list" and it was something we all really looked forward to. The service could not have been surpassed, nor the friendliness of the wait staff. Walter thought of everything, right down to a seder plate for the table. The wine list had a good variety, the food was excellent and we all had a really fabulous time - everything came together in the best sense on Saturday night and we will definitely return to try the Italian menu."

"I had read a previous review but decided to give this a chance. I was immediately concerned when walking in for a 7:45 reservation on a Sat and seeing an empty restaurant. The hostess asked us to come back at our rezzy time to be seated - it was 3 minutes until the time. When I asked to be seated (as there were many empty tables), she checked w/the manager and they agreed to seat us. The waitress apologized right away as she was the only server. Needless to say, the service was very slow and the food was fair at best. The caprese salad had thick unripe tomatoes w/barely any olive oil. My husband asked to subsitute pasta for risotto and was told No - not even willing to check w/the chef. The apple pie skillet dessert was the best part."

"Owner was very gracious as usual and we really enjoyed hearing what Chef Walter is doing in the community. We never met Chef Walter, but he must be a special person to take such a huge amount of time to give back to people that are trying to get back on their feet.

As usual the food was prepared perfectly and service was prompt. We really look forward to trying the passover and Safartic selections."
