I tried new to the menu dish, black cod, which was spectacularly delicious dish. Everyone else in our party loved their entrees. Had the extra wonderful experience of meeting Wolfgang Puck who was in town for a conference and made it a point of graciously visiting every table and he completely charmed all of us in our dinner group. On a busy Memorial Day weekend, our group of 7 was seated easily, quickly served drinks and attended to by several waiters. The calamari was universally praised; the seafood curry and roasted organic chicken were other standouts. The chicken picatta and four cheese ravioli were good but not spectacular - although to be fair the waitress advised us to get the seafood. The waiters seemed a little annoyed at small things (requests for oil and vinegar, splitting the check, etc.), but we received great service overall, the portions and recommendations were spot on, and we never lacked for water. The house WolfgangPuck Cabernet is fantastic for $36 a bottle, don't hesitate on trying the fantastic soups. The roasted beet salad was outstanding and fun, my husband enjoyed the spring rolls as well. For our entree I ordered the organic chicken and my husband ordered the double pork chop. My husband enjoyed the pork chop but he did comment that parts were a bit dry. Mu chicken was very good I would definitely order it again. the service was very good, though a bit slow. It was very busy. If you are looking for a quiet romantic place this is not a good choice... it is very noisy bases on the location. The food was exceptional, the service was a little slow. There were musicians playing nearby, not my favorite type of music, but a nice touch. Postrio's is located in the middle of the Venetian. She was knowlegable, patient, and attentive to every detail, as were all of the servers who dropped by our table. hen she accidentally spilled what amounted to a few drops of wine on my salad, she insisted on bringing out a fresh one. Really terrific service to our party of 10 (and we assembled slowly). The host was also very friendly and accommodating. Right in the heart of the Venetian Shops, it's an energetic spot with great food that won't break the bank!3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, great serviceChristmas Eve dinner: regular menu offered, plus prime rib, which we were very glad we ordered...cooked to perfection with wonderful crust and jus, accompanied by silky mashed potatoes and perfectly roasted veggies. The creme brûlée made with eggnog is not to be missed! The restaurant was completely booked and yet service was unhurried and attentive.
