"Food as usual was quite good but for the first time, after many, the service was poor. Apparently our waiter was much more interested in serving larger tables, with potentially larger tips, then just a twosome. The evening was saved however by the maître Dee who ultimately recognized what had happened and responded accordingly."

"I valet my car and the gentlemen were friendly. The new bar area next door was great place to get started before our dinner. The bartender mad sure that the drinks were at our liking. the dinner table was outstanding sitting by the lake and made my moms day as she has never been to Sugar land before. It was eye opening to her. The food was delicious and waiter was the best ever. He even made sure he got the front door for us. You need more folks like him."

"Our meals were delicious. The wine is expensive but this is to be expected. The waiter was couteous, friendly but his lines became a little insincere by the end of the evening! Restaurant was perfect for our special occasion and the service times were also spot on. Portion sizes were excellent. Don't go here if you're on a tight budget but definitely go if you appreciate good food."

"The food was amazing! The service... Not so great! Be prepared to wait on dinner on a weekend. I would not recommend this place for families with small children. Reservation was at 8:30 and it was 9:20 before our order was actually taken (only after we asked for a waiter). By this point, we still had not had our drinks brought to us. We had to ask for drinks, menus, bread, food.... Not so great. Once our food finally arrived it was amazing! We did not get to enjoy it as much as we would have because we were so hungry by the time it arrived."

"Can't go wrong with Post Oak Grill, but this time there was some confusion upon our arrival. The hostess said our table wouldn't be ready for 15-20 mins and that we couldn't sit outside because of 2 parties going on out there and that we couldn't wait in the bar because it was being remodeled and the new lounge was also closed for a party. But within minutes, someone escorted us to the new lounge where we found others seated at the bar, enjoying drinks and food! The hostess came to get us within about 10 mins and told us we could now have a table outside! Not sure why there was all of this confusion but dinner turned out good as always."
