    Everything just took too long and at least 4 drinks that we ordered were forgotten. Food was ok for the most part but way too expensive for what it was.

    We were very excited about trying this place, but were surprised it wasn't more crowded for a Saturday night at 7:30. The food was decent, at best. I expected a little bit more given the great options on the menu. The ambiance in the place is great. Very well done and aesthetically pleasing. The drinks were great. Good size for a fair price. But the food... it sounded a lot better when reading the description. The appetizers were all over the place in terms of genre, so perhaps that's why we thought the food left more to be desired. The chorizo tater tots were the best thing we had. Definitely recommend those. We did enjoy the patio area outside. Very large and comfortable. Staff was super attentive initially, but disappeared at the end.

    The duck confit chile con queso were amazing. (They are basically duck nachos with crema, cilantro, black beans and salsa.) The tuna tartare was fresh, but under-seasoned. We also had the churrasco, which was a hangar steak with chimichurri. The meat was tender and cooked correctly, but the chimichurri wasn't as good as others, as it was more of an onion relish than a parsley pesto. Atmosphere and service was lovely. They have a beautiful outdoor space. The place was relatively quiet, but it was a Tuesday night in August, when a lot of people are away.

    I wish the food was better, as Post 154 is in a great location. Our appetizers were very yummy -- I had the beets and goat cheese, while my hubby had the duck chili nachos. He had the C.A.B. strip for a main course -- which came well overcooked and dry. My pork chop was also over cooked, and the mac n cheese too creamy (yes, there is such a thing). Next time we'll double down on the apps.

    The ambiance was quite nice, attractive design. The food and service were first rate and the free valet parking was a nice amenity. The menu was creative. It is hard to know how noisy it gets as the restaurant had a small crowd as it was the middle of August with everyone on vacation and we were early. My only complaint was they serve a very short glass of wine, only about 2/3 of what you get in any other restaurant. They would be better off to charge a little more and give a better serving. Not smart.

    Was there on a Saturday night the bar was hopping as was the outside seating. We were given a very nice booth (party of 4) and waiter came to take drink order, delivered drink order and then didn't come back for close to 20 minutes to take our dinner orders. When asked which salad he'd recommend as an appetizer, he just laughed, in a condescending way, and said "I don't know, I've never been asked that before." It took a very long time for our main courses to come out of the kitchen but for the most part all the food was tasty. Tuna Tartare appetizer was good, scallop entree, roast chicken and pasta primavera were also good. Asian salad was mediocre and the $9 extra charge for 3 shrimp was a bit steep. Better options abound in town.

    The food was very good, but the service was spotty. Our drinks and appetizers came out quickly, but then we waited ages for our entrees.
