A word from Posh - Scottsdale
POSH's modern approach to fine dining offers the guest a list of daily ingredients, the diner crosses off any ingredients they do not like, and the kitchen prepares a seasonal menu, avoiding dislikes. This seasonal approach to dining creates an interactive experience for those guests who choose to sit at the counter. The Chef's counter surrounds the open kitchen. If you would like to book a counter reservation please make note of that when making your reservation. We can accommodate groups of 4 by using the corners of the counter

If you do not see the time you wish to book available, please call the restaurant.

**PLEASE NOTE** We will happily make considerations for your dietary restrictions with proper notice, so please note this when you make your reservation.

Diner Reviews
  • "Went there for our 2nd wedding anniversary and had an amazing time! The less dislikes and food restrictions that you have the better the experience. Trust the chef and you are in for a pleasant surprise! "

  • "Check out Tuesdays for Ramen Night. Josh and his crew are an outstanding and talented group of people. Service is always attentive and professional. "

  • "I enjoy frequenting Posh as the food and experience are usually over the top and the service is very attentive. This trip was early on a Wed evening at the bar. A business associate had never been to Posh before and upon sitting down pointed to me that the food must not be very good and pointed to 3-4 open Dominos Pizza boxes sitting out in the open in the kitchen in plain site of the guests, not a great first impression. The waitresses were overly eager to congregate back at the end of the kitchen an talk rather than be attentive to the customers as we waited for the basics a couple of times. This is one negative review among many glowing reviews of Posh and it is still in my Top 5 restaurants to frequent in Phoenix. "

  • "Every course that came out was better than the one before. I was literally claiming each one to be the most delicious thing I have ever tasted, and I have tasted many things! The wine was paired logically and deliciously. Some surprising and delightful combinations of flavors. The wild boar bacon I had was the tastiest ever! I would go here all the time if it wasn't also the most expensive meal I've ever purchased. You get what you pay for."

  • "I have designated this restaurant as my favorite in Phoenix and always make a point to visit when I am in town. This most recent visit was for my Birthday and it had been about 2yrs since I had been able to come back, but as always Josh (Owner/Chef) remembered me and came by my table for a chat. It is the personal touches like that, in addition to the outstanding food and creativity of the dishes, that will always bring me back."

  • "Chef Hebert and his team at Posh never disappoint. If you enjoy the experience of a multi-course tasting menu, then Posh is the place for you. Treat yourself or a loved one for a special occasion. You won't be disappointed. It's a great way to try a variety of dishes and foods, especially foods you may not have the opportunity to try otherwise."

  • "I cannot explain the allure of this place. It is a modern and enchanting place filled with great people, great food and a great atmosphere."

  • "Sorry Josh but this dinner was not up to your usual standards. The usual "wow" factor was missing plus, again unusual for you, the waitress was inattentive and the wait for the lamb course was almost an hour. This experience won't keep us from coming back since we know the type of meals you are capable of producing. Maybe you and the staff were distracted by the Beard competition."

  • "My wife and I had heard about this place from some friends and they raved about how awesome the concept was. Even though my wife is pregnant, she still had so much great food. Additionally, we did receive some food we wouldn't had ordered, there was not one disappointing bite, the restaurant, food, chef and staff all met and exceeded the rumors of how amazing this restaurant is. My wife and I are looking forward to going back, possibly for ramen night."

  • "This place is a destination for us-we always go when we hit Phoenix. It's fabulous, adventuresome-truly a "foodie" experience."

  • "This was my fourth visit to Posh. This time we went for my son's 14th birthday dinner celebration. We had an amazning meal... again. Every time I've gone has been a different experience, both in the company and the cuisine. It's impossible to describe other than to say -- if you're a foodie, you've simply got to try this place. Bring your piggy bank though, it's not cheap, but we clearly have found it worth doing over and over, so take that for what it's worth."

  • "Took advantage of the seat by 5:30 special pricing. Had 5 courses & wine. I Doubt every dish is truly improvised (just watch other tables & see identical dishes served) it was tasty and fun. No dish duplicated at our table. Ingredients included a variety of fish, mussels, short ribs, venison, quail, pork belly & loin. Desserts were good & ending palette cleansing sweets were nice touch. Wine pairings were hit and miss. Next time we would strike the more common ingredients from the list to force some more variety (ie would have preferred lamb over short ribs.) Pre-530 seating is the way to go. It was plenty spendy at the special pricing. Without, it would have been cost prohibitive (and likely not worth it in our opinion.)"

  • "Food and presentation and amounts excellent!!! Birthday girl should be happier with choices...all of which were not preferential. "Bacon...really a section of pork", oysters tooo"hot" and spicy, salad mediocre and desert not chocolate???"

  • "It is remarkable that the negative reviews of Posh dating back a number of years are still accurate today: overcooked and under seasoned food, unimaginative, expensive, boring, poor acoustics in an uninspiring venue...We knew it was going to be bad when we were asked about allergies and dislikes, and were still served those exact ingredients! Probably not a good sign that we made a reservation at Binkley's while we were eating at Posh. It is said that you go to a restaurant for the food and return for the experience. Neither was good."

  • "While the idea of it might be a little intimidating, not knowing exactly what you're getting for each course is a lot of fun, and you'll get things that are amazing that you never would have ordered otherwise. I will use any event as an excuse to eat here and happily drop hundreds of dollars on 5/6 courses with wine pairing. All of my best meals in Arizona have been at Posh. It can be a little loud inside, and that is the only thing I can possibly say could change about this place."

  • "I love the concept and the surprise of each course. Dessert was the best during the 5 courses. The price is way too expensive for the amount of food and preparation. I am curious what the markup is on the food I can't imagine the shrimp they used or the pork belly they used was that expensive. For our table alone, without alcohol, it came out to be over $300. It's a nice venue just not worth what they charge. The service was excellent though, I wish I remembered the gentleman that served us. He had glasses and was tall. Great guy. Loved the way he explained the meal and we never had to ask for drinks to be refilled, etc."

  • "The slowest service. Very rude abrupt servers. Took over one and half hours for just the first two courses out of five. Not going to return with this attitude"

  • "Expected a much better meal given the price. Food wasn't bad, but none of the 5 courses were memorable, or something that I would love to eat again. Too long of a wait between courses, and overall, just an average experience. If I'm going to pay fine dining prices, I expect fine dining. Do yourself a favor and take the trip to Cave Creek and Binkley's. It's light years better."

  • "This restaurant is for folks who enjoy the European style of dining with a relaxed and nicely paced service and food served in proportions that are healthy (as well as delicious) and paired with appropriate delectable wines. I can't wait to return."

  • "A failed attempt at being a culinary adventure. For example, the turnip puree had the texture of a sticky, rubbery paste similar to what I ate in 1st grade---but that paste tasted better. The beet salad had a crusty smear of blue cheese with paper-thin slivers of beet---barely there. The frog's legs were salty, the quail dry, the strawberry kiwi desert was bland with a tasteless vanilla something-or-other topped with 1 1/2 inches of sugar straw which tasted like, well, sugar straw. The bill was over $250 for two. Our money would have been so much better spent at Binks or Binkleys The last time we dined at Posh is was fairly good, but the experience was fun. This time was a waste of time and money."

  • "There is nothing like Posh in Scottsdale - which is perplexing to me. We use Posh a couple times per year when friends come to visit. However, we actually went to Posh on a date about 5 months ago & the service & food weren't impressive at all - at least compared to prior visits. We wrote a letter recounting the experience to which Josh, the owner, took the time to respond to with genuine concern. He challenged the two of us to come in again on his dime. We did. And we brought my folks on a special occasion. Curious how restaurants might launch a come-back and knowing I would tip on the full amount despite the discount, I did not present the coupon until after dinner. The old Posh is back. Excellent."

  • "This was our first time going to POSH, and was recommended by a relative. We were very impressed with the overall set up - as it has the look and feel of a high end restaurant. We have visited several top end restaurants around the world and POSH stacks up with some of the better ones. Decor tends toward modern, with lots of glass and stainless steel. Servers are very knowledgable and the chef is definitely creative. The presentation and flavors led us to feel as if we were judges on one of the more popular tv cooking competition shows - and it was a blast. However, POSH is not for the short on cash. For a once in a lifetime experience, I would definitely recommend POSH - and to select the option that matches wines with the various courses."

  • "Understood the menu concept before going but really didn't know what to expect. Go! You don't select specific item from a traditional menu - you "de-select" things you don't like and the chef does the rest. Go! We each did the 5 course and were comfortably full. The wait staff was well trained and attentive and helpful. Go! Parking is in an underground garage and there is a valet. So, no issues with parking. So, no excuse not to go and give Posh a try. The price point is a bit pricey. 5 course with one drink each for two and coffee and good tip was $155 but I would say it was worth it."

  • "Posh was recommended by family, although I have seen reviews before, so I was excited to see the real thing. First time it was hard to find, now very easy. We were celebrating our anniversary and were looking forward to a nice meal. It more than satisfied our expectations. It was early, 5:30, so very unfashionable but it was very intimate and quiet. Our waitress was outstanding and explained the entire Posh way of dining. We chose a 5 course and decided to get a bottle of red wine instead of the wine pairing. The wine selections were adequate for our tastes and the wine was just right for our meal. all courses were varied and delicious. Excellent place to celebrate a special occasion. we will certainly be back."

  • "We ate the 7 course tasting with wine pairings and our friends did the 6 course tasting. While nothing is ever bad at a place like this, we were not impressed at all. They say on Top Chef that the biggest sin is under seasoning food and that is all we could think about while dining here. The concept is great but I think the flavor profiles need to be improved on. The service could improve by making sure that there is new silverware for each course, however, the pace of the meal was good and we enjoyed that they explained each dish well."
