Arrived before our 6:30 reservation so we had a cocktail before dinner. The bartender is very friendly and made excellent drinks. We were seated at our reservation time. Rather than ordering a full dinner, my friend and I split the Pork flatbread and each ordered the Arugula salad. Both were excellent.
The service very slow that night. I will admit all tables in the dining room were full and many tables had parties larger than 4 people, which could have been the reason for the slow service. After our salads were served our waitress didn't come back to the table to check on food or later to offer coffee and we had to flag her down to get our check to make the show on time.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMI recently had the pleasureI recently had the pleasure of having dinner with a group of seven for a birthday celebration. First off, the building and decor are lovely. Very tastefully done. The dining room is spacious and comfortable. I particularly liked the draperies and upholstered chairs with landmark Scranton buildings. Very unique.
The service was excellent, Our waiter, Jeff, could not have been more personable and attentive.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented. One diner remarked that his pork chop was the most tender he had ever eaten. The seared scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious. And my husband loved the salmon.

The food was very good, visually appealing and a wide choice of selections. I tasted the tuna and scallops from the menu and enjoyed both. The Oreo Creme Brulee for dessert was decadent. Because we dined before a performance at the Cultural Center,service was hit and miss, I assume due to the crowds. Order at 6:15 PM, our appetizer arrived 15 minutes later and our entrees came out a short time later just when we were ready for them. A friend joined us at 7:15 and ordered both an appetizer and entree. His appetizer came out at 7:45 and his entree arrived at 7:55. Needless to say, we missed the 8:05 curtain by a few minutes since the entree was too good to shovel down.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMMy daughters took me for myMy daughters took me for my birthday and it was a very special lunch. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The wait staff was great and the food was wonderful. A good mix of choices and prices. There were several lunch specials that I would have enjoyed had it not been for the lamb chops which were reasonable priced. My meal was delicious and my birthday luncheaon wss a success. I would difinitely return for lunch in the future. It was loud with the bass of the speakers reaching the dining room. The men drank beer and Jack and water. We relaxed and enjoyed the table snacks before dinner. Dinner was TERRIFIC - from the wines to the entrees, everything was perfect. Overhearing that it was our friend's birthday, the lovely maitre d' brought the "birthday girl's" dessert over with a candle and she and our waitress sang to her - just delightful! The management are gracious, the atmosphere is dignified, the cocktails are superb, the wine list is very sophisticated, and the food is really, really good. On my most recent visit I had delightful cajun aroncini as an appetizer and a perfectly prepared swordfish entree. A previous visit revealed the restaurants facility with brunch.
