Ports O’ Call Restaurant is everything that a waterfront dining should be, the setting, the food the service, in a comfortable unrushed atmosphere that is simultaneously cozy and classy, equally suited for romantic dinners and business conference.
Our menu is quite varied but not overwhelming, definitely there are enough choices to ensure that every guests dining preferences will be accommodated. Ports O Call Restaurant has a well deserved reputation for serving only the finest, freshly prepared cuisine and for its skilled courteous staff, dedicated to making each guest’s dining experience a memorable occasion.

Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm ( No happy hour on major holidays ) $4.00 for house wine,

  • "The Ports O Call resturant is not a reliable foodie venue, but it does have very pleasant surprises. The fish is fresh, and prepared with appropriate simplicity, not overdone, and thus delicious. Steaks etc pass muster and enjoyable. Service is sincere, they do their best, but not highly trained. Still, the intentions are good and they do their best. Bottom line, the Port's O Call may not hit all the resturant etiquette points, but their effort makes up for it, usually. The venue is beautiful, harbor main channel view unparalleled, and we've gone many times, and will again. Also, they're used to serving groups, and you could do worse as a nice family dinner or lunch venue."

  • "On Father’s Day (and we are told, every weekend), the parking lots were jammed. Prepare to walk a half mile if necessary. Very crowded boardwalk atmosphere at the venue. Once inside the restaurant, it was peaceful and a pleasant, if not memorable, experience. Probably won’t do this again."

Overhead music was subtle and noise was low key. The food was presented with artistry and it was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience."

  • "A classic restaurant amongst those of us who have lived in the West LA county/South Bay area for many years, Ports O' Call is still one of the best around, despite the touristy attractions being a little past heir prime. Seafood is second to none (some right off the boat), a salad bar that's the the best in the harbor, terrific service and a night-time view that is breathtaking. Check it out!"

  • "We have gone to this restaurant several times a year, to celebrate birthdays, for about 20 years and have never had a problem. This was the first time we ever had problems getting set at a table where those of us with disabilities had the room to get up from it. We have sat at the same table for as long as I can remember, but the manager this time decided the table was too big for the 7 of us and moved us elsewhere. I understand this can happen, but imagine our surprise when we came around the corner and a group of 5 people were sitting there!"

  • "We had reservations for 1PM, but, because of heavy traffic, the first member in our party arrived 10 minutes late. The staff was very friendly, polite and accommodating. By the time we were seated, it was 1:20. They never made us feel as though we would loose our reservation. The waitstaff was polite, friendly and very efficient. The food was delicious and plentiful. Everyone had their fill. "

  • "We come here because my wife loves crab. Quality of the crab changed. Did not taste good at all. Overheard another table complaining about the quality. Could not eat more than a couple of pieces. The omelet cook was different and very sloppy/messy. Had food all over his cooking area. Was very stingy with the quantity of food he used. I had to ask a couple of times, if I could have a little more cheese and mushrooms. He was so rushed. The sushi was not good either. The rice was ice cold and very gummy. Like the sushi was pre-made and left in the refrigerator for a time. Plus there were a couple of larger parties that were overly noisy, uncomfortable... Otherwise the service was excellent, other foods were good as usual. Menudo was tasty."

  • "It's hard to write a review for an Easter brunch because it was crowded and noisy, but that's acceptable since it's a holiday. The only thing I can mention that was unpleasant was the fact that our table was outside( which was fine) but it was in the sun. We picked up our table and moved it to the shade which helped a lot!.we have gone there for at least 5 years in a row for Easter brunch so that says a lot!"

  • "We enjoyed ourselves at Ports O'Call on Feb. 3, 2014. I had requested a quiet out of the way table with a view of the Harbor as we were celebrating our 41st Wedding Anniversary. We were given a wonderful table with a view of the Harbor and our Waitress was superb, readily available, helpful yet unobtrusive. Our experience was simply wonderful. The food was delivered in a timely fashion and was very good. When we are in San Pedro again we will look forward to another visit to Ports O'call"

There is a nice variety of food to choose from with plenty of seafood options as well as things for kids, a carving station, omelet station, etc. everything we had tasted pretty good. also, I didn't know until we got there but brunch includes the harbor cruise ticket if you choose to partake. It was a bit chilly and we hadn't planned on it so maybe next time. Oh, the price also includes coffee, juice, and champagne. Not bad."

We sat out on the patio and the scenic was great. We wanted to get on one of the boat rides, but was too full from the delicious food. Next time, we will do the boat ride."

  • "We had a 5:00 reservation, since that was their last seating, and they were closing the brunch at 6:00. At this meal the food was for the most part very good. I did notice that they weren't bringing out fresh food as much as I would expect they did earlier. Some of the dishes had only a couple pieces and a few others didn't have any. They may not have wanted to bring out a full insert at that time of the day but I would have felt maybe at least a partial. The desert table was a bit of a mess at times but I attribute that to the fact that some people are really pigs when it comes to a buffet. They show very little consideration for the next diner and it makes you wonder if they have any manners at all. Overall an enjoyable meal."

  • "Ports O Call was the perfect place to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. The brunch buffet is truly amazing: great diversity of dishes (breakfast, fresh seafood, sushi, salad bar, mexican, and more), and all tastes great - not like the mass-produced food you find at some buffets. Located right on the water in the San Pedro port, I was very taken with the outdoor patio: It has been redone, and now has glass installed around the perimeter to shield diners while preserving their view, a sunshade canopy, and fire column heaters and a fire pit. That all makes for a very nice ambiance to enjoy during brunch! Excellent service as well - the staff made sure that our mimosas never ran out. I look forward to my next visit!"
